I actually wondered this myself. I don't actively participate in TRP or read much of TRP. But once I started to express some of my more chauvinistic views, other Redditors instantly labelled me "red pill", even though I had no prior interest in it. Eventually I got so tired of denying that I subscribed to TRP, that I eventually said "fuck it" and self-labelled as a red piller even though I disagree with a lot of it. Reddit's knee-jerk hatred of TRP makes it hard to agree with even a little on what they say without being identified as a "terper".

TRP made it hard on other male chauvinists. Can't I just be chauvinistic without people accusing me of believing in all of TRP?

Your mom? Your grandma?

Fashion designers? Gay musicians?

Answer: All of those people might have an opinion about what is and isn't "Tacky", and some of them might be more qualified than others, but at the end of the day what is "Tacky" is an individual opinion based on an intuitive feeling based on examples that are also known to be "Tacky"

Whether or not something is "Redpill" is similar.

The key word is 'consensus'. On public forums like reddit, there's a collective consciousness (e.g. the famed reddit hivemind) that you can see in upvote and downvote patterns. Looking at highly-upvoted posts on /r/TheRedPill tells you that the community consensus thinks this is red pill, while downvoted posts are not.

Obviously, ECs and mods will have more sway, but that's because they've earned it. The EC flair makes posts get more attention, and so the upvote/downvote pattern is more pronounced (mostly upvotes - if their stuff was bad and downvoted they wouldn't be/stay ECs), and mods can delete troll/spam/off-topic posts and comments.

tl;dr Red Pill content is what the Red Pill community agrees is Red Pill content. Like a lot of other subreddits.

Nobody. The Red Pill means different things to different people. Some use it for good, some use it for evil (if pumping and dumping/hitting and quitting/threatening to dump by dread gaming her even though women do the same thing to us is considered evil). The Blue Pill is certainly focused on the evil aspects of the Red Pill, never the good.

It probably confuses you because there is a marked tendency for debaters here to weasel their way out of owning pretty much ANYTHING remotely objectionable from the home subs. I'd say it's more pronounced with redpillers, if only because we're more often actively discussing specific content from TRP than the other way around (no one's made an equivalent "Wall of Shame" for TBP)

Red Pill is a personal sexual strategy. Anything that can improve your sex life is red pill for you(This is why different red pillers will pick and choose what works for them and discard advice that does not work). Everything else is white noise and not very relevant beyond just talking shit with people.
