One of my friends from college is a chubby chaser.

I think she does like that they are much bigger than her, but I also think she knows she can manipulate them easier.

So I can't really gauge how genuine her interest in their size is. But she's a lawyer. So it's no surprise she's about exploiting weaknesses. I don't think she's marching at the front of the morally standup parade.

TRP explains to fat men that being fat is unhealty, its unhealthy for your body, for your mental state of mind, and for your value in the sexual market place in general.

Men are not trying to shame other men into killing themselves, into eating more and becoming fatter, or anything of that sort. Men are trying to encourage other men to become better and learn the ways of this world. To help them understand and navigate their daily interactions in business and personal life.

My personal preference is for muscular dudes before they cut. Something about digging in my fingertips and feeling where the fat gives way to muscle.

One of the mile-wide blind spots over at TRP is guys who slack off/let themselves go in a thousand different ways, get dumped by their girlfriend as soon as she realises life is downhill all the way for this guy and will end with a bariatric coffin, then go out and fix themselves up, but don't stop hating on their ex for for dumping them. Dude, if you weren't willing to do it for her, but you are willing to do it for random pussy you haven't even met yet... well maybe it is time to shut up about how much you loved her and how she done wrong by your love.

From what I've observed, on average women seem to have an overall preference for fat guys over skinny guys, but there is a LOT of individual variance.

Yes, women can be attracted to them but in spite of their physical appearance, not because of it. They might have other traits or characteristics that make them attractive to women (e.g. status and money in your example of a poor country).

Attraction is not imprinted from parental figures. What about daughters of single mothers?

The concept of what is a muscular man has definitely changed with the bombardment of images of roided-out men, but fit men have always been valued.

No, it is encouraging men to be fit and take responsibility for their own health. Being overweight is unhealthy and unattractive to women. It demonstrates a lack of self-control. It is one of the few physical qualities you can change.

There are deffinetly women attracted to fat men. However a fit man will on average appeal to more women. Also being in shape has a positive effect on health and mood.

Absolutely. Being fit is one kind of value. Go to any bar or club on the weekend and you see fit guys go home alone because they act like wallflowers, and big fat loads go home with stunners because they're fun, the center of attention, and they assert what they want.

There are women. They absolutely exist.

However, most women don't like fat men; any story about losing weight is pretty much guaranteed to mention that, as the weight came off, they started getting more attention, or things they did went from 'creepy' to 'funny' to 'sexy'.

So, RP advice is to drop the fat and put on muscle. It makes you look and feel better, improves T levels, and gives you something that you have accomplished yourself.

Yes, TRP is fat-shaming each other. It's true, there are likely plenty of women that don't mind - maybe even like - a big "teddy bear" type, fat and all.

But TRP is hypergamy for men, they want the hottest woman they can get, and they tend to go for hot guys. So, TRP fat shames each other to bulk up so they can get better looking women.

Fat people need love too, and they often find it with each other, so it's all good.

While it's true that there are a lot of women who are indifferent to chubby/out of shape men, and some that even prefer it, most studies (no I don't have them in front of me at the moment, sorry) show that women generally prefer a male body type with wide shoulders, thin waist, lean physique, not overly muscular (aka incredible hulk), but with clear definition. Lifting is the easiest way to achieve this body type.

In addition, lifting improves your health, increases your testosterone, and generally helps improve your confidence in other aspects of your life. Lifting isn't JUST about attracting women. It's about helping you feel good about yourself.

The biggest thing is weight training and exercise in general is all about growing as a person. It's hard and it takes dedication to maintain it, all of which build a lot of self-confidence and self worth. Looking good is merely a side effect, though a nice one at that.

There have been periods of history where a higher BMI was considered more attractive, as having surplus food indicated wealth. The shift in the past 20 years has been (broadly) towards acceptance of heavier women and less muscular guys.

As for women having a fatty fetish, I don't know. I've never noticed one.

TRP is encouraging men to maximize there sexual value. Fetishists(?) are outliers in what they find attractive, we advocate increasing your overall attractiveness and appeal, not to mention health.

If anything I've gotten more fat since I started working out hard. My stomach has kind of adjusted and I get hungry much more often now, whether I'm lifting enough to offset it or not. I have both more fat and more muscle on me than before and I think that's how it would work for any skinny dude who started lifting seriously.

So yeah. Lifting isn't really to get skinny, so... I think the point of your thread kind of missed its mark.

Fat is not the same as big. But lot of women have a thing for bigger men (and I mean body size now, lol). There is a saying in my country, that a man under 100 kg (approx. 200 lbs) is "just a Christmas tree ornament". Some women are into "bears" i.e. big men, but that doesn't mean a guy with a huge pot belly ideally, but somebody strong although not "ripped" as a bodybuilder. Well maybe that is because that we are poor, although most people aren't starving, actually many poor are overweight here too just like in the US (due to eating cheap and unhealthily).

I've met a few girls that were "chubby-chasers". However, I think the mindset is still that they want them somewhat strong or in shape. I think being fat, weak, and out of shape is different from having an endomorph build that's still strong.
