5'7" 155 pounds still skinny fat but making visible progress. Lost two inches on waist since I started lifting a basic program 3 months ago, while building some muscle and getting much better definition. 1600 calories per day diet while cutting.
Lifting: 5 days per week. Day one, all 5x5:
Bench Press (alternate incline and flat) Squat Close Grip Bench
Day 2: Seated overhead press Barbell row Deadlift Bicep curls.
I was thinking of going to 531. However i am not bulking yet as I still have about 15 pounds to lose. Is it worth doing 531 while still cutting? Based on what I read I would say "no" but just because I may not put on as much muscle when bulking doesn't mean it isn't worth the switch now.
My plan then is to do the 531 for beginners program during my cutting phase and switch to the intermediate plan when I am ready to bulk.
Good plan? Faggot plan?
