No. There are pockets of "old reddit" that spring up from time to time. It's usually when a community gets enough participation and traction to be constantly active but is small enough that "one side" or "the other" doesn't drive the minority out and the sub gets "hiveminded". They aren't very common and they have a limited lifespan. Such a place is here (for now) and there are some great exchanges here.
