Alpha and beta exist on a spectrum. A man who is completely alpha is a man who is extremely attractive but completely unreliable as a provider. Such a man could range from a moronic fuckboy to a charismatic criminal, but the key point is that he makes women attracted to him for short-term sex rather than for long-term commitment. The ideal man for a woman is a man who combines alpha attractiveness traits and beta provisioning traits (Alpha Bucks).

Alpha males are men who get the respect of other men. Nothing more, nothing less. And no, no MGTOW man who hasn't slept with a woman in years is really getting respect from other men no matter how much he whines about it on reddit.

There is an alpha male “type” of personality. However there is a true one, and one who is false.

For example: A true alpha male will be attractive, which doesn’t mean he is objectively better looking than most other men. Which means the way he carries himself and acts creates that attraction, to not only women, but also men who see him as a competent leader, or person they can aspire to. It is natural that a better looking guy would develop some of these characteristics, but not always, just look at some dominant athletes, Special Operators, lawyers, doctors, and so on (not limited to these...just easy to see examples) They are not all pretty, but they are viewed as attractive.

He should command the room, but not because he wants too, but because his intrinsic characteristics make it that he will do so just as his behavior. Whether he feels he needs to get something done, or just from enjoyment from communicating. It should not be so he can just be the center of attention. He should want to be number one, again not to show off his worth, but so that he knows, himself, that he is the best, and if he didn’t achieve it by beating the best opponents, then it won’t as much.

This in contrast to the false alpha behaves just to be “alpha”, striving to pet his own ego, get girls, etc. They are so often confused, but that’s because social media, by its nature, has rewarded the appearance of an Alpha male over a true alpha male.

It doesnt excist, there are men who in their "area" are more open/better able to chat people up but thats mainly superficial.

For most its just a numbers game those who claim that to be "alpha" they get shot down a lot but they just move on and dont care .

I think the basics are Self confidence, and not being afraid of confrontation. Believing you deserve things and taking them when it is uncomfortable and others are not brave enough to.

Won't talk about myself so i will bring an alpha male that i knew in my life, my father.

He wasn't scared of anything or anybody, never panicked, never shown fear, could deal with any issue, people respected his presence and looked up to him as superior, he was charming and would excel in social situations, full blown confidence with zero insecurities or self doubt , highly intelligent.

He also had tons of women since i know many people consider that to be alpha, so there it is , a list.
