In the de dicto sense a high value man is a man who women value. If one woman values a masculine criminal, that man is high value, if another woman values stability and comfort, than a man who provides those would be high value to her, and low value easily follows from this.

Here is a list of traits I believe that women do value in men:

Height
Prominent facial features
Income
Social status(that is often derived from the other traits)
Stability(he is not going to leave for 3 weeks to ride motor cycles with his friends or rob a bank)
Masculinity(risk taking, outcome independence, facial features, build, presence, and voice)
Artistic ability
Self-sufficiency
Competence/Confidence.

To me a high value male is attractive (I'm not going to bother unpacking that expect to say it encompasses physical and non-physical traits), hard working, family oriented, good in bed and shares my goals and values.

The answer is incomprehensible. For me, a HVM is one that I find attractive that compliments my life and personality. Not only is that indescribable, it's dynamic.

High value: attractive (to me), educated, goal oriented, dedicated, good job, caring, kind, above all ethical in his values. Children, pets, and old ladies love him.

Low value: unattractive (to me), unethical, looks for a quick buck instead of setting goals, takes advantage of people and particularly the women he dates,

When I say attractive or unattractive to me, it does not mean looks per se. It’s also style, mutual interests, compatibility.

HVM: mentally and emotionally stable; does not need to put down or control others to feel good about himself; has a job, or is in school or training; has interests or hobbies; smart and curious about the world; not cruel; recognizes that women and men are both human; likes and supports his family; likes animals.

LVM: mentally or emotionally unstable; wants to control others even though giving him power would make their lives worse; insults others to make up for the repressed knowledge that he is useless; racist or sexist because being a part of them master race’ is the only thing he can cling to to feel batter about himself; too lazy or entitled to work and too stupid or incurious to get an education; etc.

It is going to come down to what is high value and low value to individual women and what they want to do with all that. I know who is high value to me.

My view of men as partners isn't so simple. There's 3 levels for me:

The ultimate fantasy: a confident, nice guy who's psychologically healthy with no vices, and is reasonably attractive and hits the gym sometimes.
What I'd probably get and be satisfied with: the regular Joe who's decent looking, nice and really interesting to talk to, but has problems and issues just like many other people, including a problem with confidence.
The undateables: Very overweight or unhygienic, criminal, misogynist or has significant mental health issues that they will not get help for.

I think this is an individual preference. I dont think what I want in a man is what every woman wants in a man. But physical attraction is important to everyone (though the tastes vary)

We dont all want the same things and the point is being with someone who suits you as the individual you are and they are

My HVM traits have dwindled to employed and breathing, with the ability to text back and answer the phone. I require nothing else.
