The issue is that you're never going to get the truth. Everyone lies about it, even the most honest women you'll find.

Like someone else mentioned, you won't really know whether you're being told the truth since females can be suspiciously forgetful of interactions. Plus, a number of sexual partners for them may not include events where penetration of some sort is involved. It's helpful to gauge I guess on whether or not they're LTR material but use it as simply a small component of other factors and overall total commitment to you. One question I found interesting is whether it would be better to have someone with a small number count who might still be looking for their next partner or sexual experience over the horizon or someone with a higher sex count who is in total commitment to you and has also met enough people to the point where their stage of experimentation is mostly over due to you being of a much higher value than any of those other partners. It's a factor but contextually dependent on other variables and your personal experience and relationship with them. Looking for the perfect woman in all categories is practically impossible so understand that if you have your shit together and they're dedicated to you then you must also take control in forming them into the partner you want them to be.

If a girl wants to LTR you then she’s going to give the lowest number that she can get away with because that is optimal for her strategy. The same girl may claim an n-count of 2 to a guy who’s just moved to her city, claiming it’s just her two ex’s but then give a larger number for someone who’s in her extended circle and may know people that she’s fucked or seen her on Tinder for a few years or her leave bars/clubs with guys.
