Because that hatred of women stems from rejection in the first place. TRP men want to have sex with women and believe they are entitled to it. The whole philosophy is based on the idea that women are men's opponents in the sexual "game", but the goal of that game is still to get laid.

You see, the Redpill movement is about "winning the sexual market" and gain back the dominance men once had on women. That's the whole point of the Redpill - to conquer as many women as possible.

Everything in the Redpill is about women, when it contradicts itself to not put women on the pedestal. Everything they do is about women. Going to the gym? For aesthetics so you can have more women be interested in you. Self improvement? So you can be higher in the SMV, therefore having more sex.

Some men would deny it, but let's face it. Many men need the Redpill because they have had shortcomings with women. Instead of focusing on themselves, they rely on women's approval for everything they do.

I read this post and the responses, and I feel I need to chime in with my thoughts - however unpopular they may be. Like many of you, I read the red pill forum and agreed with a lot of what they said. Actually, even before I read it, I intuitively knew a lot of stuff and found that redpill forum merely confirmed it. However I also found lot of BS in red pill…. A LOT! When I mentioned just one of them in TRP forum, I was immediately banned from the group. So net net, I empathize and agree with many things that red-pillers say, but wholly disagree with how they want men to address the situation.

First point I want to talk abt it is this -

"… but I really like the focus on self improvement…."

Its not just the OP, but several other ex-redpillers who have said this. Well, I respectfully disagree. Suppose I told you that I go to the shooting range for target practicing regularly every week, so that I could enroll into police program, I am sure you'd applaud me for my dedication and my intent to serve the society. What if I told you that my intention was to commit a crime. Would you still applaud my target-practicing routine? I am guessing "No". Well you see, you really need to see the intention. The red-pillers are into self-improvement with the sole purpose of "conquering" women. They call them plates. Plates are basically fuck-buddies. They want to pile on as many plates as they can and they invest time in gym and other self-confidence routine for this goal. I do not find anything worthy of appreciation in this.

The next point I want to talk abt is misogyny.

The thing about red-pillers is that they actually hate women, but deny it. They say that they merely understand the women better and treat them the way the deserve to be treated.

Lastly, I want to talk abt this -

This is a big one and requires some elaboration because it goes to the heart of the red-piller angst. It is true that no one should feel entitled to sex…but I can very well generalize this say no one is actually entitled to anything - air, water, shelter, …in fact life itself. If a guy is drowning and is surrounded by 100s of onlookers but no ones takes the initiative to help him - what would you feel about it? If somehow the drowning guy is able to save himself and as he is walking away from the lake, he filled with bitterness/cynicism about people in general, would you go to him and tell him that he is not entitled to life, and that he has no reason to be bitter towards anyone? Think about it …

No one is entitled to sex. But vast majority of us have that psychological need - to be touched, to be loved, to be cared and to have sex. Many men and women do have a psychological craving for mindless sex as well (we call it hookup); or to be the object of someone's desire/flirtation. It is not an entitlement, but we all have that craving and expectation. That is how nature built us. Even apes have similar needs. I hope you see the nuanced difference between the need/desire for something versus a sense of entitlement.

In the present times, there is a breakdown in the sexual marketplace. This fact needs to be recognized and accepted. As per statistics gathered by OkCupid, when men rate women it is quite along expected lines - ie, the distribution is a nice bell curve with 50% of the women being rated above average and 50% below. However the way women rate men is quite skewed. Women rated 80% of the men as below average. Women rate men harshly. Beyond statistics, let me break it down for you.

If there is a girl that is at 6/10 rating, she looks at a 8/10 rating and rates him 6/10. She pursues him, and sees nothing wrong with the picture, but in reality she is hypergaming. When women do this as a collective, this leads to crowding at the top - ie, men with 8/10, 9/10, 10/10 rating get lots of attention. These are the top 20% of men that get all the action and are termed "Alphas". The alphas get so much attention that it sucks the oxygen out of the system for rest of the guys. So a guy with 6/10, 7/10 may get lucky once in a while, but for guys in 5/10 and below the situation is pretty grim.

A girl's perspective is quite different and most don't get the seriousness of the above situation. Typically a girl can get sex anytime she wants. A girl on social dating site - even the average ones - are bombarded with so many men, that she can be extremely picky. From her perspective of abundance, it really is difficult to imagine a life of scarcity. And if someone is not able to get sex, from her perspective he got to be a real pathetic loser. This is the reason most women just don’t get the frustration of these 80% men.

The reaction of these 80% men is varied:

Some have decided to highlight this issue - how the system is skewed and how women have an upper hand and are abusing their advantage. This is the MRA
Some men in 60-80% percentile want to up their game and emulate the life of the alphas. These are the typical red-pillers focussing so much on self-improvement
Then there are the bottom 50% of the men, who stand no chance. They are saying that the rules of game is so bad, that they don’t want to play the game anymore. These are the MGTOW

The problem I have highlighted above is real and ultimately affects women too, when their objective turns from hookup to steady relationship. A 6/10 woman who is used to hooking up with 8/10 man (she thinks he is 6/10), all of a sudden finds that the guys she has been having fun with are not into relationship. They keep trying with various 8/10 guys and get frustrated that these guys are only into hookups. Some women do come back to reality and date a guy who is actually 6/10. Many red-pillers label this 6/10 guy as the beta-provider. Many guys in steady relationship are reading the red-pill ideas and the phenomena that I have mentioned above, just messes them up. They start viewing their spouse/gf with suspicion as they go through a cognitive dissonance. If you go through some of the posts in this forum, you'd know what I am talking abt.

Here is why I became a exRedPiller:

Redpillers may be highlighting the problem with many women. As I said, may be a million women are contributing to the problem. But why should I punish my wife for the sin committed by random women? Frankly I don’t care about these millions of women who are like the ones described by red-pillers; and I am not going to let it spoil my relationship with my wife.
Redpillers constantly rage abt how women are contributing to the problem, but are absolutely silent abt the top 20% of men who are equal contributor to the problem. Infact the red-pillers almost adore and want to become like the top 20% men. This is pure hypocrisy.
Redpill idea has lot of holes; that is why they are a closed group. Anyone who questions them is immediately banned. In my opinion, if an idea can stand on its merit, it should be able to withstand someone questioning that idea.

I don't think it's "hate" though I think the better term would be to "look down on" women. There are a few misogynistic views but I think the majority of that sub looks down on them and labels them as less than males.

I think that they use their focus on women (through obsessive thinking and/or hatred) as a substitute for the female companionship. It's basically what fills the place once held by women in their minds. For MGTOWs this is rather obvious, but it's similar for other brands of red pillers as well. Let's say that they have this 100% empty space for the female companionship in their minds. One night stands or casual relationships may fill it up to 20-30% A comitted relationship or even marriage may go up to 40-50% But seeing how they view women as evil, inferior, etc, no woman can ever come close to 100% So they use their focus on women to fill the remaining empty space. It's a bit of a vicious cycle because obviously the more negative focus they place on women, the less likely they are to be fulfilled by actual women.

But I guess before introducing this negative focus on women, this space was totally empty in their minds... so even misogyny is better than emptiness.
