Why is it that the more women become "empowered", the less responsibility for their own choices they seem to have?

Simple: the more sociopolitical power women have (ie. the more "empowered" women are), the more benefits they divert to themselves and the more responsibilities they divert to men.

Basically, they're using their sociopolitical power to free themselves from responsibility.

[–]Philhelm15 points16 points17 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women are the enemies of liberty.

[–]1nzgs4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's not women it's socialists. There are women fighting the good fight, and the vast majority of people pushing these asinine laws are men; white-knights, male-feminists, manginas, self-serving politicians trying to identify with SJW causes...

Turning everything into a gender war is not helpful. In fact it serves to discredit RP ideas when they can be labelled as angry male rantings, rather than the more appropriate outrage at government abuses of power.

[–]1cover202 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

the vast majority of people pushing these asinine laws are men; white-knights, male-feminists, manginas, self-serving politicians trying to identify with SJW causes

and that want an excuse to talk publicly about vaginas. Seriously this is the kind of level they are on.

[–]QQ_L2P0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because I'm sure those white knights and manginas are doing what they do for a change to plunge balls deep into a dudes arse.

Women are creatures if instant gratification and mood swings. They have no concept of "planning for the future". This entire situation, while engineered by women, is the fault is the fault of those limp wristed fucks who couldn't nut up and say "no".

[–]czabak71 points72 points73 points 11 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

The reason they do this is to doctor the statistics to show a large increase in the number of female genital mutilation cases and thus further demonise men and give more of their money and power to women and state-run organisations.

News will then report: "A new $100,000,000 bureau will be set up to tackle an ever increasing number of FGMs following a new report that discloses a massive increase of the practice over the last few years."

The same thing happens also for rape statistics (and all other places SJW are interested in), where the definition of rape is being pushed to ever more ridiculous limits to achieve the same result.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Exactly, as real rape and real female genital mutilation becomes commonplace in immigrant friendly western countries, the statists find it useful to mangle the terms and obfuscate the problem.

[–]Titan500013 points14 points15 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This undoubtedly has a negative effect in the long run. When news of the 'widening' hits the marketplace and people see it for what it really is, the very idea of rape and FGM may become downplayed (unfortunately) because of all the ridiculous cases it has lumped together with it.

10 (real) FGMs in a population of 200 = 5%

10 FGMs + 500 piercings in a population of 4000 = 12.75%

Look at the increase in FGMs nearly overnight! This is clearly a social issue that must be stopped before it gets any worse.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not really... this is how the "1 in 3 girls get raped at college" came about, and noone knows it comes from outright lies and redefinitions.

[–]ven52 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So that's how you make money with a liberal arts degree!

[–]Makati-Kills 73 points73 points73 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

WTF!

Damn Patriarchy

[–]theHangedGod53 points54 points55 points 11 years ago [recovered] (52 children) | Copy Link

50%+ of men suffer non-consentual genital mutilation. And no one cares. I actually like my dick circumsized, but I didn't even get to know the alternative.

God damn Jewish traditions, I'm not even Jewish.

[–]Makati-Kills 28 points28 points28 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Perhaps male genital mutilation is a form of slave "branding"

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 11 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

that's actually how it got started with the jews

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's not what it says in the OT. Got a link?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

turns out I was wrong. the egyptians cut themselves and left their slaves alone.

[–]darkstout21 points22 points23 points 11 years ago* (11 children) | Copy Link

Foreskin protects the head of the penis and holds in the natural lubrication secreted by glands under the head. This allows for increased sensitivity. Supposedly.

[+]IlllllI-19 points-18 points-17 points 11 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Nope. Studies showed negligible difference in men that chose circumcision as adults.

[–]shzftw17 points18 points19 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

lol there is negligible difference because the foreskin was doing its job.

If you think 20+ years of your penis rubbing on your underwear won't have an effect on sensitivity you are delusional.

[+]IlllllI-14 points-13 points-12 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for your opinion, which is based in nothing but your opinion.

Sounds like the one autism study to me. Enjoy your greasy, unhygenic dick, dumbass.

>being this mad about dicks

lmao

[+]IlllllI-9 points-8 points-7 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

ain't mad, u jus a retard bro

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

studies show no such things - the sensitivity of the penis with a foreskin is easily 10x as sensitive as without. It's like eyeballs with or without eyelids.

[–]IlllllI-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The measure is from self reporting, not from actual scientific data on nerve endings and their amount of sensitivity. I'm circumcised and I've got fantastic sensitivity. Should I have been part of the survey?

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You most certainly do not: you can't. Your nerve endings have been rubbed raw from daily constant physical contact without the protection of a foreskin.

It's no different than if you wrapped your tongue in a dry towel and never let saliva touch it, then figured you had excellent taste & sense of texture. You won't. You'll have a dry tongue that is worn out from friction and doesn't work right.

[–]Booksarefun66618 points19 points20 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I know how you feel, I'm circumcised and while it's not that bad I wonder what it'd be like to have that bit of flesh there.

I don't even like looking up circumcision facts because all it does is get me pissed.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I am quite pleased with it.

[–]TurgidMeatWand3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's not a Jewish tradition in America, it was a practice started by Kellogg because he believed circumcision along with a diet of flaked corn would prevent masturbation.

After everyone forgot about that silliness they kept doing it because that's how things are done.

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Interesting ... link?

Why would cornflakes prevent masturbation?

[–]TurgidMeatWand0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hazy memory, on phone can't link at the moment, not masturbating and eating corn flakes were supposedly good for health according to Kellogg.

[–]dancing_junkie1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm actually kind of pissed now that I didn't get the choice..

[–]arabontour2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I didn't consent to mine but I appreciate my parents for doing so. Don't remember anything, no pain but the perks are worth it.

[–]Bottled_Void7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

What are these perks you're so happy about?

[–]arabontour0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Studies have shown circumcised men are less likely to contract STDs (HIV and herpes) and less cleaning is needed.

Off course both can be avoided by wearing condoms and washing more efficiently. But what's done is done, I'm not going to complain about it mainly cause I have no point of reference to know whether cut or uncut feels better or worse, just making the best of the situation.

[–]BroflexMcMansteel-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Easier to clean and no risk of it tearing off during sex and bleeding everywhere.

I think that's it.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Your foreskin isn't going to be peeled off during sex. That is retarded.

While we are being retarded - what would happen to the rest of the penis if there was no foreskin. What would a lizard do if it couldn't shed it's tail. Think man.

[–]BroflexMcMansteel0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I read story on reddit of it happening to a guy a few years back

[–]1oldredder2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never had mine tear in sex ever and I've fucked hard enough and long enough to get friction burns everywhere else plus the girls get friction-burns too.

Cleaning the foreskin literally takes only 2 seconds more to soap it up and rinse so I can't imagine thinking saving 2 seconds per show is worth it to CUT IT OFF. Holy fuckballs that is extreme.

[–]loddfavne0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

no risk of it tearing off during sex and bleeding everywhere.

If this happens you might be doing "sex" wrong. Just sayin'.

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What you're missing is like 10x the sensitivity so a damn good blow job is damn better. Way better. It's not like it's a hassle to wash - a little extra skin. It's supposed to be there. Doing cosmetic surgery for not just non-medical reasons, but literally for no reason at all but tradition / "god told me to do it" / everyone-else-is-doing-it is fucking crazy.

[+][deleted] -7 points-6 points-5 points 11 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

Yeah it sucks that I didn't have a choice but I def prefer my circumsized dick over me having a non-circumsized dick. Looks way better. It's like having a crop-top classic car. Much better.

[–]REDDITCanSuckMyCOCK 17 points17 points17 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Strong hamstering is strong. You prefer the looks of a penis over the increased sensitivity?

You will be a fool to not go on the foreskin-regrowth programs they are developing atm.

[–]GuruDev10005 points6 points7 points 11 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

You got an awesomely relevant username.

On a serious note, you think these foreskin regrowth programs will cause the sensitivity to return in the glans?

[–]Bocaj6487-2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

So you can cum in one minute instead of two?

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

No, so you can cum in 1 hour if you want, and cum 3 times in a row, because that's what increased sensitivity means.

I could literally keep getting hard a minute after sex, bust a nut a again, and repeat several times per day with a hot girl with skill because sensitivity is there.

If she's ugly I will probably just be happy to bust a nut once and leave.

[–]Bocaj64870 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If she's ugly, she shouldn't be there. There is a reason the female attractiveness scale is truly only 6-10.

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, it's 1-10 for a reason and sadly there are men who will go below 6. I'm willing to admit I've done it once but at least I can say the woman was a cum-whore and proud to be my cum-whore so... it was good.

Otherwise I've stuck to the 7+ rule since then and not regretted it.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Exactly. These guys talking about being more sensitive. I couldn't imagine it. Shit if it was more sensitive, I wouldn't get past the tip. Sometimes a good pussy makes me want to bust just after a couple strokes and I have to think about baseball or something.

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That's lack of skill & self-control - you can get better skill just by fucking more. You don't lose sensitivity, you simply gain neural control.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I can see that. Guess we will never know unless you are willing to take finger nail clippers to you foreskin and tell us the difference you feel.

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As a matter of fact there are men who as adults get circumcision but I won't be one of them. It's self-mutilation with no benefit.

[–]IlllllI-3 points-2 points-1 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's not proven to be increased. It's proven to be negligible.

[–]garlicextract5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Good for you, I prefer my fully intact 100% untouched member.

[–][deleted] -5 points-4 points-3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lookin like a damn ant eater

[–]__ZEAL__-2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Coupes are far better. Always have been, always will be.

Edit: I'm not talking about dicks, I'm talking about this guy's terrible taste in vehicles

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Way to not get my example. Coupes come that way, ass. Crop-top is a custom modification like circumsized penises.

[–]__ZEAL__-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I understood your example perfectly fine. I wasn't talking about dicks. I was talking about cars.

Your example is pretty backwards though... When speaking of what they look like, ragtops would be uncircumcised and coupes would be circumcised. Makes more sense.

[–]jamoni22 4 points4 points4 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

My kids are whole. Had to fight the hamster like hell, but no fucking quack is taking a knife to my boy's dick.

[–]loddfavne0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

Respect for making the right choice and handling it the right way.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself17 points18 points19 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm sure this will only apply to male piercers

[–]Dr_HoaxArthurWilmoth29 points30 points31 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do they get some kind of victim compensation monthly check for their "mutilations"?

[–]1 Endorsed Contributormordanus29 points30 points31 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Why is it that the more women become "empowered", the less responsibility for their own choices they seem to have?

That's a good question. Because when women get more power they have more sway over what goes and what doesn't. This allows them to make what their hamster spins into law. The more we allow them the more they will take.

[–]you_are_faggots[S] 20 points21 points22 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The more we allow them the more they will take.

Exactly. This is why I have such trouble with the idea that we should just ignore them. Stupidity does not go away if ignored. It thrives.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

are you a woman who had to get out of bed in the morning? youre a victim!

[+][deleted] -14 points-13 points-12 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The same can be said for negros, gays, trannies, lesbians, and attention sexuals.

[–]the_red_scimitar9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

We are in a feminist, SJW "bubble", which will burst from the weight of its own impracticality. Just keep watching.

[–]yummyluckycharms7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

How can someone who consented to this (which is close to 99% due to the nature of the act), be called a victim?

[–]WallyHotvedt7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

the old rule - stop trying to make sense out of nonsense.

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

wait wait wait - you mean my argument is invalid??

[–]Tarnsman4Life10 points11 points12 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Further evidence women are little better than children; the state seems hell bent on removing any level of personal responsibility from women. Next thing you know it will be illegal to tattoo a woman if she is "emotionally incapacitated". Too bad they let women have their cake in getting to vote, sign contracts, get credit and then eat it too by having little to zero personal responsibility at the end of the day for anything they say and do.

I have no problem with women acting like children but I don't see a society where women act like children but get adult rights as sustainable.

[–]dicklord_airplane3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

and circumcision still doesn't make the official definition of genital mutilation. UK law, public policy, and public discourse is a Monty Python sketch.

[–]Digital_Yar3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Check this out: http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs241/en/

What i find the most discouraging is not the fact that WHO definition of Genital Mutilation actually includes piercings (mutilations of type 4), but the fact that who wrote that definition included the word "female". Shouldn't it be a declaration about "genital mutilation"? or maybe "pediatric genital mutilation"?

Think about it, there were people talking about how in some parts of the world adults mutilate kids in the name of the most stupid ideas (religion, most of the time) and yet when the time for writing it down comes someone says "hey, the whole part about the unecessity of the procedure, the pain, the abuse of somebody else body.. that whole thing is fine but.. shouldn't we say it's just for women?"

[–]killcat3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The WHO is a massive fuckfest of SJW and feminist bullshit, take a look at their definition of gender, 4 examples all about female, 3 are about "oppression".

[–]1oldredder2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

because as soon as they include males the immediate problem is that most Americans and ALL JEWS will be accused of being child-abusing child-mutilators, while the majority of Americans with political influence believe in circumcision like idiots and I think we all know the story on Jews + circumcision and the other story with Jews = victims and if you dare ever do something that puts them in a bad light, your fucking life is over.

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Muslims also circumcise.

So these days, maybe it's the Muslim influence more than the Jewish one, but both lead to the same conclusion.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The UK is just fucking weird. Granted, they will probably push this in the US but it will be laughed out of court. This wouldn't go to the feminist family court. This would go to claims court or big boy court and there is no way the victim card would work.

[–]Bottled_Void0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The World Health Organisation doesn't just cover the UK. Plus with the US's weird idea that all men should have a circumcision you're hardly one to talk.

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think now only about 50% of baby boys are circumcised in the US, used to be higher.

[–]dancing_junkie1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When can I become a victim for having my gentitals mutalitated as a baby? They stole my skin!

[–]SpyBot10001 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And then there is this shit where they claim they're going to pierce their own vaginas and blame it on men to "fuck up" the system.

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is ridiculous. Women with vaginal piercings are doing it TO HAVE BETTER ORGASMS. Paid for legal service.

This is a thing women seek with a clear and immediate personal benefit.

It's not abuse in any way, shape or form. The notion itself is beyond stupid.

[–]Subtletorious0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Media beat-up and general bad journalism. Piercing has two meanings. One is to cut, the other is to insert an ornament. This article is confusing the two defintions.

We really need to ban stories from The Daily Mail.

[–]Limekill-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago* (9 children) | Copy Link

While I will probably get down voted to hell I think it's important to add a bit more context here. Basically you have parents of certain cultures (both Christian & Muslim) chopping up their daughters lady bits, which causes a whole heap of issues (from untrained people conducting extensive surgery, to death by bleed outs, etc). Now these can be hard to prosecute because the victim does not want to betray her family. So the response by Government to make it easier to bring prosecutions, is to ban anything considered fgm. That way the prosecutions will hold up, rather than lawyers debating what amount of cutting up a vagina constitutes fgm.

This is not about womens irresponsibility. This is about the Government getting prosecutions.

I'm not saying this is good (fgm=obviously very bad), but just trying to explain some of the rational behind this.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The reason that you will get down voted to Hell is that everyone with a room-temperature IQ understands that context already (you're being patronising... or is that matronising). Most importantly, it's not the issue being discussed; the issue is how genital piercings that the adult woman not only consented to but sought out and paid for may, at least according to OP's interpretation, be considered FGM under this law and the professional who was asked and paid to do it could be considered a criminal. If this law is open to being interpreted in this way, then it is too sweeping for its (alleged) intended purpose - stopping real FGM.

Also, people are upset because no one who holds the reigns of power give a flying fuck about MGM, an extremely common practice.

Why don't they just structure the law so that every single person is guilty of something and then only prosecute them for it when they step out of line?

They might claim they wouldn't go after a person doing voluntary vag piercings and will just use that part of the law to cast a larger net around the real offenders. But once that normal guy working at his piercing shop pisses of a cop for something unrelated, bam, jail time.

What insanity.
