I know for me I really prefer the "german eyes" over the brown ones, though there are people with brown eyes who are northern european. I've got the "german eyes".

I'm pretty sure brown is the dominant gene, so you really need german-german eyes to have certainty that any kids you have will have them.

It reminds us that most of the "desired features" (the beautiful blonde goddess look) are actually recessive traits.

This means that the earth might see the end of such beauty if trends continue.

Blue eyes + brown with a recessive blue = 50% odds of blue.

Blue eyes + brown with two dominants = 0% odds of blue.

Two brown eyes, both recessive + dominant = 25% odds of blue.

Do you have a recessive? If you are brown but one of your parents is of the blue variety, then for sure you have a recessive. Otherwise its more of a crapshoot because you don't know what your parents had (dom + dom or dom + recessive)

No 75% there when one of the mating pair has blue eyes.

Correct my DNA knowledge because my genetics class was probably 30 years ago.

As I remember there are typically two gene pairs.

Blue - Blue --> mates with --> Brown - Brown

So you get:

Blue - Blue

Blue - Brown

Brown - Blue

Brown - Brown

...which means 75% of the time you get Brown and 25% of the time Blue.

Correct?

Dominant gene means in a Brown - Blue the Blue will go recessive.

Blue - Blue mates with Blue - Blue ----> 100% Blue

So the breeding thing is a reality.

You are forgetting:

You have two of them. So mother + father each have two. But the child inherits only one from each, and its random. Either is as likely as the other. You never get both from same parent, which is what you have there.

From a blue blue or brownbrown you can only get one kind, but from a brownblue you can get one or the other.

So its: Blue+Blue with Blue+Blue -> 100% blue.

Blue+Blue with Brown+Blue -> 50% Brownblue and 50%blueblue

Blue+Blue with Brown+Brown -> 100% Brownblue. So 0% appear blues, all have recessives so their children can show blue.

Blue+brown with blue+brown -> 25% pure brown, 25% pure blue, 50% mixed. Because brown is dominant, only 25% blue will appear.

Your percentage depends on your starting point.

Dominant / recessive means any time Blue is not matched with Blue you lose the Blue. So it matters to breed carefully.

I was into the brown eyed brown haired girls for decades. In fact it was a sort of joke that all my girlfriends looked the same with brown / brown.

I dated a Irish / African woman who had a child with a German guy. The thing is that the kid looked 100% African despite being only 25% by DNA.

The features of white europeans are almost 100% recessive, so when you mix into the brown gene pool you pretty much no longer exist as the former.

It will be a shame if the beauty disappears.

But I suppose at least it will end racism because there will be all brown.

No, actually once mixed in it will keep popping up and in surprising combinations. But the mostly pure variety will be rarer, of course.

Seen many cases of mixed with africans where you can easily see both sides, or the white even had a stronger cast in features or some such. Its not linear at all.

Anyway, why are you mourning it? You got the stupid nordics activelly trying to make their towns into mosques, and succeeding. I'm in southern europe, and we got 10x LESS muslims by % than france, and much less than sweden.

I have grey-blues(they verge on white all the way to dark blue), and am a darkening blond, so I have to remain conscious of that shit myself or I'm liable to make enemies with people I'd rather be friends with.

To the rest of you, it's not even about racial purity. Blue or green eyes are a free cuck test, and actually those with green eyes have the best one. Yeah, it's not as good as a DNA analysis, but it's better than nothing, and doesn't require spending any money.
