A breakdown of SRSWomen

Got myself my honorary you-have-a-penis ban from SRSwomen today. I'm surprised they didn't give me a pre-emptive ban like askwomen, but alas, slow to the draw I suppose.

http://i.imgur.com/Yrq2Kzl.jpg

Today I wanted to talk about how SRSWomen, and Feminists work.

I'm going to say that as far as RED PILL stuff goes, this subreddit is the center of it. There is no more hardcore, extreme, foam-mouthed sub dedicated to our ideals. This is it.

And we have no rule banning women.

In fact, our main rule is avoid ad hominem attacks and you can stay. (Surprisingly difficult rule to abide by apparently.)

So let's look at the literal translation of their rules.

DWORKINS FASCIST RULES

  • Men = Benned.
  • No one cares if ur a cis dude or what ur cis dude penis thinks.

Because you have a penis, you cannot understand anything we speak of. Therefore instead of allowing the benefit of the doubt, we ban all men. Before you even try to make a point, men, we will fallaciously attack a component of your anatomy.

This is the literal meaning of sexism. Something of which we are accused of, but apparently can't even get into our rules!

  • Slurs get you benned.

Apparently they can't spell ban.

  • Being a misogynist, ableist, white supremacist, transphobic, homophobic, creepy chucklefuck also gets you benned.

Sounds good. Define misogynist. Anybody who disagrees?

  • You post in MR? Thats great, Ben.

Because men don't deserve rights. I mean, look at it over there. They're talking about things that could affect women! Some of them even think women don't deserve rights. Anybody who says that a gender collectively doesn't deserve rights is EVIL! (except us, because men don't deserve rights.)

  • Misandry? DONT REAL. NO BAN

Honestly though, did nobody go to school?

  • Diet/Weight loss talk is benned.

Any talk about taking responsibility for yourself, your actions, your life and happiness is a no-go. Wouldn't want to offend anybody's sensibilities.

  • No Libertarians Allowed

Are there any left after you banned everybody who makes coherent points?

Seriously though, I know most people will say that SRS is a bunch of trolls and pointing out their inconsistencies is pointless. But let's face it, this is how a lot of people think.

I wanted to document this, I know it's an worn debate, but I needed to say it. Their points hold no value because they do not allow scrutiny. It is the anti-academia.

So next time somebody argues that we're misogynist for calling women stupid, I direct you to EVERY SINGLE WOMEN'S SUBREDDIT WHERE SCRUTINY AND CRITICAL THOUGHT ARE OUTRIGHT BANNED. That's pretty stupid in my book.

I am a feminist and I completely agree with what you said. It's pretty ridiculous to manipulate someone's sex life so much. If the shoe was on the other foot, it would be viewed as trying to control women. "You can't read 50 Shades of Grey, and delete that Ryan Gosling Tumblr!" would just not go over well. But also, even if that person is around 24/7 sometimes you need porn anyway.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (3 children) | Copy

My sister also says she's a feminist and I try to argue with her only to find out she agrees with what I say. I have yet to tell her this but it just does not compute how she can still call herself a feminist.

A red pill feminist is an oxymoron. Like a squared circle, freezing hot or honest politician.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I pointed out I'm a feminist to illustrate the point that what he said really isn't that "out of line" even to others of different leanings. Seems an overreaction to me. =/

[–]sweisman0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I met a girl towards the end of my college days who was getting a masters in a very fem program, communications. She called herself a feminist, but it was clear from talking to her she was not a feminist. Her parents were traditional Polish Catholics. Even though she wasn't as conservative as they were, she had some very traditional views. I was heavily blue pill in those days (late 1980s), but even I could tell the difference. I used to argue with her that she wasn't really a feminist, and she refused to even discuss the idea.

[–]bigkik0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Just tell her that many people feel the world feminist mean female supremacist, just like hacker has come to mean computer criminal, when it really didn't mean that originally. An ideology about equality and not being treated like shit should be called egalitarianism, it shouldn't have the name of one gender.

To many women not being a 'feminist' is being a woman hater, which is why they have the label in the first place. Even the polish 'feminist' girl probably just felt like she wanted to be respected and doesn't hate her gender and that's what feminist meant to her.

So sweet, you can see how much the kid loves his puppy. c:

Both very pretty dogs! Does the Dali have two different colored eyes?

What a handsome looking dog.

So cute! also, great lipstick shade.

Eeee, I want to moosh its face. c:

Their eyes match their coats! Heart = exploded.

LOL, that dog looks tortured.

D'awww. The puppy is so tiny!

LOL the puppy looks strangely okay with being eaten alive.

Seems a lot more like a chick who likes bitches than a feminist to me.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Nothin' better than bitches.

Well thanks for being level headed. Though it doesn't sound like you get along with other feminists.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

I've noticed a lot of women who self-identify as feminists simply because its trendy to support "equality" but if they knew the real face of feminism they might rethink that label.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

It's hard not to identify that way in our culture, seeing as you have two options: You're a feminist or you're a misogynist.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

headdesk

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (3 children) | Copy

These communities are a direct representation of what happens when feminism has brainwashed the bottom 10% of society to feel entitled to the same privileges that the top 10% of society earned. Eat shit, cunts.

[–]Bobsutan7 points8 points  (2 children) | Copy

Well that's one way of putting it. Another would be apex fallacy.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

You and your fancy words.

[–]Bobsutan9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

LOL!

On a serious note, if anyone would like to learn more about Apex Fallacy, knock yourselves out...

Apex Fallacy.

You just described the biggest difference between our movement and the feminist movement. We're not anti-woman by any stretch of the imagination. I mean, look at all the shit we go through to keep you around and fucking us regularly. However, I am a staunch anti-feminist and make no apologies for it.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 8 points9 points  (6 children) | Copy

I'm going to say it. I love women.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

How dare you ;)

[–]Boss_Monkey2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Ain't that the truth. Back in my blue days, I had a false idea of what a woman was. I said that I loved my wife, but she felt I was judging her all the time. I guess she knew she wasn't living up the the idolized version of 'woman' that my blue self had pedistalized and worshipped.

When I got red, she said she felt loved. I dropped the idolized female shit, and started seeing all her flaws. She was not only okay with that, she came alive. She dosn't feel judged now like she did before. That's crazy cause I am harder on her now then I have ever been. She just purrrrs.

edit: I forgot to write my point. When a red pill guy says he loves women, he means he loves women as they are (not some idealized bullshit).

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

YOU MONSTER.
Edit: UNF.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

I love women, and more than this, I love a woman who acts like a woman.

Disingenuity is probably the biggest turn-off a human can experience coming from the opposite sex.

I feel this is half of your average white-knight / beta male's problem as well, they just never learned how to act like men.

[–]TRP VanguardVZPurp1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Mmmm. Me too.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (3 children) | Copy

I get your point OP, but who cared about them? Those people are fucked up in the head.

If you swim in shit, you are going to stink.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 5 points6 points  (2 children) | Copy

It's not today. And it's probably not tomorrow. But at some point we will face a problem. That problem is that their discourse is the one adopted by society. And ours is one being portrayed as hate-filled.

At some point, and I don't suspect it's too far in the future, we will need to deal with the clash.

I would like to be prepared.

[–]RedHonest1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's not today. And it's probably not tomorrow. But at some point we will face a problem.

Agreed. Ours is a sub where shit can stick very well.

[–]WorkThrow9911 points12 points  (20 children) | Copy

SRSWomen and Feminism are both huge shit tests. By caring about them, you've failed. (It doesn't mean you shouldn't understand what's happening, you just shouldn't care what they are trying to do with it. Understand the system, just don't play by their rules.)

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 5 points6 points  (6 children) | Copy

It's a real attitude that women have adopted. Ignoring it would be the mistake.

[–]WorkThrow993 points4 points  (5 children) | Copy

There's are difference between ignoring and not caring about something.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 6 points7 points  (4 children) | Copy

To not care about feminism's effect on our culture is to deny the red pill. Of course we care.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (3 children) | Copy

Exactly. Care enough to stay educated and "know thy enemy" but none of us care in the empathetic sense. I will crush these bottom feeders every chance I get.

[–]WorkThrow992 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

I just care enough to know who to avoid, and what behaviors are because of these things. You can know about drugs, without caring about drugs, or taking drugs. It's called being informed.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Your earlier posts seemed to indicate you supported ignorance which is Blue Pill 101. Being informed is caring and I do not want to argue semantics but Red Pill thinking is quite particular.

[–]WorkThrow992 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I just wanted to be ignorant, I wouldn't to be reading /r/TheRedPill or stuff like that.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy

It's basically women throwing temper tantrums about men because they can't have the things they feel entitled to without working for them like men do.

They want all the rewards and none of the consequences. Fuck what men think we're stupid blah blach boys are from jupiter they get more stupider.

[–]Endorsed ContributorNiftyDolphin-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

They want all the rewards and none of the consequences.

What the hell is wrong with that? I'm a guy and I'd love to have all of the rewards and none of the consequences! 'Murica, FUCK YEAH!

[–]fr1ction3 points4 points  (9 children) | Copy

Please define this 'shit test' phrase I keep hearing thrown around. I'm new, legit question.

[–]Bobsutan6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

Here you go:

http://www.pualingo.com/pua-definitions/shit-test/

Quick Definition: Often unconscious (and sometimes conscious) tests that women throw at men in order to quickly determine their social status. A shit test is a more specific instance of a “congruence test.”

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

The idea of a shit test is women will pose an impossible test to sort whether or not you're alpha or beta.

Like, "Does this dress make me look fat?"

The wrong answer is "no, honey, you look beautiful."

The right answer is a playful alpha response: "So big you're getting bigger by the minute!"

Basically saying you don't jump her hoops. Keeps the frame that you're in charge. Once women realize they're in charge, they lose respect for you.

I think Workthrow was pointing out that feminism in a way is a shit test. By making the demands they do, they quickly weed out betas by seeing which guys adopt their imperative. The ones that don't are the alphas.

[–]fr1ction2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Thanks for the answer, that explains it perfectly.

[–]Endorsed ContributorNiftyDolphin0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I think Workthrow was pointing out that feminism in a way is a shit test.

I think for others it's a psychic-salve. These are the people that aren't in the running, not even for the gammas. The big F is a way for them to retain some semblance of self-worth. "All of this shit that just about everyone on the planet cares about? Eeeeeeets BAAAAAAAD!"

I think he wanted redpillschool's definition. Being a word, it has a bunch of different meanings in different contexts. While I normally would agree with you, I think asking an expert is better than going to urban dictionary or some other unreliable source.

[–]jookato2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

If you can't find basic information like that on your own, I'm sorry for you kid.

It's alright to ask. Instead of responding with a smugly condescending "LMGTFY" like some self-important douchebag, you can just answer someone's question, or ignore it.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

The first page I came across where the guy gave examples of retorts he seemed like a complete tool. Not all of the info there is worthwhile and if you're not sure if the definition it's difficult to weed out the crap.

I agree we cant change them we shouldnt need to they can be as sexist and anti male as they want and Im not gonna counter protest them im just gonna go on living my life whats important is to understand why they are so wrong and to ensure that we dont fall into the same traps or behaviour

I think being redpill is about gender equality and in many ways we are the real "feminists" assuming you are using that word to describe people who want women and men to be treated fairly and to synergetically coexist in harmony.

A post like this is useful in reminding us what we should never become as misguided as them. The minute we start acting as intolerant as they are is the minute we lose our coherence and validity as an ideology.

What does SRS stand for? Does it just mean 'serious'?

Also I'd never heard of this SRS community until that post nicethingyoucanthave posted: http://www.reddit.com/r/SRSWomen/comments/175bf8/my_boyfriends_porn_usage_and_my_selfesteem/

The collective blood pressure of SRS must be well above average because it surprised me how vitriolic and generally quite bitter a lot of the comments are.

I suppose there are a lot of very angry people (or should I say those who identify as people) out there.

[–]meftical3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

SRS = Shit Reddit Says, born from /r/ShitRedditSays

[–]kangchenjunga2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Ooooh, cheers.

[–]Bobsutan3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

They're the shit reddit says, the underbelly of idiocy and self-important assholery that shits on other subreddits from time to time. In their view if you aren't one of them then you're against them. After all is said and done they're just a bunch of hypocritical juvenile losers with nothing better to do than point out the occasional offensive comment or thread that most well adjusted adults will downvote anyway. What's really bad is how they troll and stalk various reddit users and will lie about them and libel them by creating creative comments linking to previous threads, which when you actually read aren't bad at all. They take things out of context on purpose to have an issue (or they're really just that stupid) and then make a mountain out of a molehill just so they have something to bitch about.

[–]kangchenjunga1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Eesh...that doesn't seem like a very nice thing to do at all. Have you had personal experience?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

They've done some damage to the mens rights sub, and doxxed one of their users. I recommend anybody who posts here to get a throwaway.

[–]RedHonest0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Interesting subreddit. Here an omega dweeb is being labeled a "nice guy".

Also "Patriarchy. /end thread". Still not sure if that's a serious response. If the OP of that threads wants the real answer, she should come here. But it should be obvious why a guy's girlfriend doesn't want him hanging out with his attractive platonic female friend.

[–]bigkik0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Isn't SRS some offshoot of Something Awful that picked up a life of it's own? The entire 'bird' theme is similar to some subscriber only form that was somewhat familiar I've heard. 4chan has a similar history. SRS is mixed with trolls in on the parody of second & third wave feminism and people who actually believe it. It's kind of like star ship troopers or the movie sucker punch. It's too subtle, so people took it seriously. Look at this review of sucker punch as an example: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/escape-to-the-movies/2962-Sucker-Punch

When I went to check out SRS once, it reminded me of the mental equivalent of a herd shrieking baboons, it was so bizarre.
