I know its fashionable to call Red Pill, Sexist Racist Neckbeards. But im the only one who is qualufied to talk about who Red Pill is. Because im the only one who has taken the time to talk to ~300 Red Pill members face to face on skype.

The majority of Red Pill are 20 something year old college dudes. About 1 in 10 are minorities, Asian Black and Indian in order of prevalence. Also there are a lot military veterans here. Very few Red Pill men are overweight my guess is about 1 in 20.

Im honestly not seeing the neckbeards. If there were neckbeards, you bet I would be writing about how having a large anime figurene collection makes you alpha. Red pill loves incendiary funny content because the Red Pill is college bros.

Wong is not the new CEO, he's the one who came before Pao. Hoffman is the new CEO. That said, Hoffman will probably ban us.

Another "sky is falling for TRP" post. We literally go through this exact same shit every month or two. Also, Wong (the guy who posted the statement OP is discussing) is not the "new, new Reddit CEO." Wong is a former CEO of reddit (pre-Pao). Steve Huffman is the current CEO of reddit who replaced Pao.

Bottom line with this one: One ex-CEO (Wong) claims he knows what another ex-CEO (Pao) was thinking and what Pao wanted to do with regard to banning subs. In all likelihood, Wong doesn't know shit. Especially given Pao's history, her expressed desire to make reddit a "safe" space, and her non-reddit action in pursuing a feminist agenda, I'm calling bullshit on Wong's statement that Pao was a champion of free speech on reddit.

Remember: don't listen to what they say, watch what they do. Even if Pao had paid lip service to free speech on reddit, and even if Wong was somehow privy to that, I still don't believe Pao meant it. Her past actions do not reflect holding those types of free speech ideals or an inclination to act on them.

I dunno about this, I think there has been a shift in the consciousness of reddit lately. Redpill is large and organized, the userbase is frenetic and intelligent. It would actually be in their best interests to pretend we don't exist instead of starting a much much larger reaction on other mediums such as youtube and 4chan post pill destruction.

The premise of my post is that - if redpill is gone, we will find ourselves on other sites spouting the same thoughts. The infection will redouble upon reddit for being the facist cunts they are.

The incoming shitstorm when they start banning more subs might finish Reddit off before they get to our little corner. Fact is we are pretty tame compared to a lot of the weirder subs. Our Mods are also absolutely merciless and that will be a big advantage if they start looking for reasons to shut us down.

TRP, you're so far off the mark with this one. It isn't about being beta or alpha, male or female. The new CEO is not a mangina white knight.

All there is to it here is that the executive board of reddit has hired a man, and asked him to make reddit more profitable, more open to advertisement, and more politically correct.

Just like the governments would hire privateers to fight pirates, the executive board is hiring a CEO to banish offensive non-PC subs in order to make reddit more welcoming for advertisers.

Pao, Steve, or whoever the next CEO is, the goals of the executive board do not change. The path is set in stone and whatever the board's vision of reddit is, it will eventually take fruit regardless of which CEO is at the helm of reddit at the time. This is 100% not a 'mangina white knight looking to shine' matter. It's a guy getting paid to monetize a service. That's all.

TRP isn't going anywhere. We get bashed but not as much as the already banned subreddits. We do not post "offensive" content. We don't tag our shit NSFW because we have nothing to hide. We are a wide range of men (some boys). As /u/GayLubeOil pointed out, TRP adapts to it's surroundings. Some of the content I see is posted out of pure anger because a lot of you are angry 20 something college bros.

That's okay, but don't bring our ship down. Lets stay classy and continue to better ourselves.

I have a webserver (of my own) and I wouldn't mind hosting a reddit style alternative for TRP. I think a lot of people on here are probably in the same position.

You can't let an online community build itself with user-generated content, then say "mine, mine, mine" when it's not to your liking. That's totalitarianism, akin to Hugo Chavez, in fact it's just like what he did.

The Red Pill subreddit promotes self improvement and actualization. Sure, there are the usual anti-feminist posts, but we're no different than the feminism subreddits. It's sad that TRP has developed such a negative connotation based on reputation alone. We aren't "he man woman haters" (though many do miss the point); we're simply looking at relationships at a more effective angle. This community has help thousands of men learn to live with and appreciate women, more than than they ever thought possible.

That is all. This is honestly one of the more positive subreddits, and it's our responsibility to stop giving TRP such a negative reputation.

EDIT: This article doesn't mention TRP at all.
