(Disclaimer: This is absolutely a serious question. I am admittedly an outsider to this community, but rest assured I am not here to troll, I just wish to understand the MGTOW way of thinking.)

From what I have come to understand about the MGTOW ideology, the core of it's belief system is that, ultimately, women are worthless, save for reproduction and sexual gratification.

What I am wondering is how this belief is reconciled with the way that members of the community see women who are in their family.

Do you see your mothers as worthless? If so, please try to explain why. I ask the same about sisters and grandmothers, too. Are they just as guilty of the sins of woman as all the rest, because AWALT?

As someone who has grown up in a family full of women who exude strength, integrity, and benevolence, it's very difficult for me to understand the AWALT mindset. Sure, I have met some horrible, selfish, abusive women out there, but nowhere near enough to cause me to lose faith in all women on the planet, and especially not those in my family.

Surely there are a large majority of you who have a woman in your life that you love, or at least has loved you and never caused you harm, right?

Thank you in advance for your replies.
