So I searched "Snapchat" on TRP and there was not a single guide on such a unique tool to get laid. It was all just blue pill examples and one meta post saying not to view a chick's story because she checks who views her story and to her that is the same as if you texted her, which I agree with. The goal of this post is not to be comprehensive, but to be a platform on which Red Pillers share their Snapchat experiences in the comments and tips that have worked for them.

Disclaimer: I'm not a pua nor a professional, nor do I work for Snapchat. Take my advice with a grain of salt. I am simply an average guy who happens to understand that Snapchat can be an incredible tool in displaying value as well as immersing myself into the lives of women.

Snapchat: the basics

Women, especially younger women chasing validation, would rather receive a snap than a text. Not only does more activity on Snapchat increase your score, but Snapchat is more adventurous and risque, as snaps are deleted after a certain period of time.

Pick a username: Personally, I'd advise going with something simple and based around your real name, and definitely not your Reddit username. But you probably won't give your Snapchat to your boss or use it in a professional manner, so you don't have to be all formal with it. You can use numbers and underscores and whatever is necessary to find something original.

Trick: when you pick your username, you also have the ability to pick how your formal name appears in people's Snapchat list. I recommend putting your name as well as some sort of emoticon representing who you are. That way, you stand out in the list of snaps she receives.

Now that you're signed up, let's begin the process of using Snapchat.

The Queue (or whatever it's called)

This is where you get all the sent and received snaps.

Trick: When you open a snap, the other person is immediately shown that the snap was opened. Use this to your advantage. When you open a snap, don't reply to it immediately. Rather, let her wallow in the fact that you both know that you opened the snap yet you don't care enough to respond to her right away. Same thing goes with read receipts in iMessage, but that topic has already been covered here on TRP.

Snapchat Story: the place where you demonstrate value.

The great thing about Snapchat is that it isn't passive like Facebook: on Facebook you see post after post without a second thought. On Snapchat when you click on someone's story, you are immediately immersed into it. Therefore I recommend making stories when you are doing high value activities, such as going to a club, hiking, traveling, or whatever.

You can see who viewed your story. This is beautiful in that if a woman isn't responding to your Snaps but is still reading your stories, chances are she is still interested in you and is just playing games.

Sending and receiving snaps

The brilliance (and potential danger) of Snapchat is that you can send the same snap to as many people as you want without them knowing that you sent it to other people as well. However, I don't use this feature for the following reasons: the avid snapchatter will know when they see a mass snap versus a personalized snap. It is better to put that shit as your Story rather than to snap it to all of your contacts. But that is just my opinion. If you did something incredible and want to be sure specific women see it, then by all means send it to all of them.

If she sends a generic snap and you suspect it was sent to multiple people, ignore it. Don't validate her with a response. Snap her at your own pace and with your own discretion.

What my snaps contain (3 P's)

  1. Potential (aka value): I'm at the gym at 6 in the morning. I'm with my friends bowling. I'm out at a club. Whatever it is. I can hit her up with a pic if I want to. Anything that says "I'm a guy who has things going for me, who is bettering myself, and who is important in the communities I am involved in".

  2. Personality: let your personality shine through with your snaps and don't hold back. if you see a funny pose, go for it. if you see something of interest, take a snap of it. anything that shows yourself for who you are. Snaps and stories have a limited time frame rather than Facebook or Instagram, so you can be more lax on what you post.

  3. Pointed (aka personalized): You don't want to send generic snaps that she assumes you sent to a dozen different people. If I am trying to initiate a snap conversation, I insert her name into the snap so that she knows that it is personalized. Or I reference something unique to her. I get girls that spam snap me every day and it is annoying because I know they are doing it to others as well. Again seeking validation in the form of responses.

This guide isn't at all meant to be comprehensive, rather it is to get the ball rolling on what has worked for guys in the past with regard to Snapchat.

tl;dr/most important points

  1. Don't mass snap, rather make that snap into your Story

  2. Don't worry about responding immediately after you've read a snap. Rather take your time and respond at your own rate

  3. Don't respond to a snap if you suspect it is a mass sent snap. Don't give her the validation

  4. Make your name stand out with a favicon like a sword or shield or something

  5. Make your snaps contain potential, personality, and pointed

  6. Use Stories wherever you go and whatever you do to demonstrate value and immerse her in you life

  7. Be flexible with your snaps as they are temporary and she will be scared to replay them because you will recieve a notification if she does

  8. Be careful about reading stories because she has a list of everyone who reads her story.

Snapchat is a brilliant tool for communication, however it can also be a tool for validation. Have fun with it but don't go overboard in your snaps and be sure to paint a picture of yourself as cool, confident, and charismatic (3 c's).
