He's definitely NTA. I wouldn't entertain a guest in my own house seriously implying that I'm a rapist/killer either.

When I put her drink in front of her, she looked at it, then to her friend beside her and asked "did you watch him make it?" Her friend goes "no, I was talking" or something.

She had the option to openly say "No thanks" directly to him without even giving a reason. As she never asked for it, the reason for refusal would be an implicit "I don't want it". She's a designated driver too so there's a ton of other implicit rationalisations available when not giving a reason. However, she decided to openly spread distrust without any logical rhyme or reason to do so. This is quite damaging socially as others may ask themselves subconsciously why she'd distrust him when he's being so generous, causing others who do not know him to potentially doubt his sincerity.

I'm confident that if she did not make the comment to her friend and simply refused the drink, there'd have been no problem. She could have also asked for him to make any other cocktail and he'd have done so right in front of her.. she could even have changed her mind and asked for the very same drink later on and caused no fuss this way!

But she started to talk about drinks made her for that she didn't see made, so I interrupted her quickly with "do you really think it's possible I drugged your drink or something?"

This is where she had the opportunity to say "I find it hard to trust people I'm not yet close with" or something to that effect. This is a non-accusatory explanation for why she wants to see her drinks being made in front of her without insinuating that his generosity is a form of deception or that OP is somehow a threat to her survival.

If OP had kicked her out after offering a proper explanation, then he'd be the arsehole.... but OP clearly justified his actions by explaining how she focused on implying he was at fault for being a generous person!

Wait, what??? Yet she's drinking? When I served as the designated driver for my friends, I didn't touch a single DROP of alcohol, ever. If we were stopped by the cops, or got into an accident, I was ultimately the one responsible. I didn't feel like serving time in prison for a DUI, paying for someone's injuries for the rest of my life, or even living with the guilt of having caused a friend to die or suffer horrible injuries.
