This actually happened to a friend of mine. He and his wife divorced-she got full custody of their kid. He was struggling financially but paying alimony and child support. He eventually got a second job because he was struggling to live on what was left after his ex got her cut. She found out about his second job and took him back to court. Since he was now making more, he needed to pay more. The court agreed. They forced him to pay so much-along with back pay from that second income, he no longer had enough to support himself. He had to live in his car for over a year. The really shitty part-his ex had her boyfriend move in with her. They were living together but because they weren’t married, my friend had to pay alimony. If she would have married her bf, the alimony would have stopped.

Man when I see this things, I'm just glad I didn't make a stupid mistake like that before finding MGTOW.

Thanks guys, you really opened my eyes. MGTOW truly is like taking the redpill. It's unbelievable how society manages to implant these ideas/expectations of how you should live your adult life, getting married, having kids seems like a natural next step but in reality is nothing more than a trap.

I know many married guys 30's/40's who are one argument away from this. We can't live in 2019 with 1950's family values. Tried to do the "right thing", but the right thing no longer works. Sad shit, hope he does ok.
