How the hell do you expect a boy to teach himself to be a man in 20-30 years when men have COLLECTIVELY spent hundreds of years trying to figure this stuff out....if not thousands.
It seems simple and easy to understand to us, but only because we already know it.
Think of it like this, division is incredibly simple, right?
1000s of years ago during a dark age, it wasn't simple at all. It took geniuses decades (sometimes lifetimes) to figure simple concepts like division out.
It is only simple to us because of all the records of these intelligent men's previous works that we can freely research and the teachers who showed us how it is done.
If we not only had to figure out math by ourselves, but have someone teach us incorrect information and point us in the wrong direction, it would probably take us ten years longer to figure out certain things, especially slightly more complicated subjects like algebra.
And unlike math, there are no books/courses on how to be a man...but there are heaps upon heaps of incorrect information out there that will make this game even more confusing.
TL;DR: What is a man? A question scholars spent thousands of years pondering..something we expect modern young men without any male role models to discover in a decade without ever getting the answer wrong.

Humans build upon other humans.
So the problem is single motherhood and the overall lack of male role models.
Tons of men are bumbling around trying to teach themselves everything without any of the knowledge that our ancestors shared between countless generations of father and sons (all building upon the last generation of men). Not only that, but women and society are teaching them incorrect information.
I posted a detailed post right above you that went into detail about it too, but things that seem simple to us are only simple because humans kept passing down knowledge and building upon the previous generations collective pool of knowledge.
This is also why millennials seem so underdeveloped and childish compared to older generations. A large chunk of us are forced to teach ourselves things boys were taught when they were five. So 25-30 year olds are more akin to eighteen year olds in ages past.

I had a relationshit where she cheated when we started - monkey branching back to her ex, and lot's of orbiters with 2am calls and text.. I forgave, gave her one chance to show/prove, she smartened up and got rid of them all fast. Took her a year to gain my trust, and we moved in together...
