"Is there a woman in your life you are going to share your wealth with?"

Went to a big relative gathering two days ago and had an interesting conversation with my cousin's girlfriend.

"You have made it so far in life. Is there a woman in your life you are going to share your wealth with?"

"Why would I share my wealth with a woman?"

"Well...not just a woman but the one you like"

"I'm not going to"

I thought about this quite a bit. I feel like she asked me that question to just figure out if I have a girlfriend or not but in my opinion that question just simply exposed the way she thinks. In her mind, a man that is or had become successful should 'settle down' with a woman and share his wealth with her. Simply meaning be her provider.

Most of the evening she was acting quite flirtatious towards me and starting conversations with me but after that conversation she stopped initiating any small-talk with me. Though I'm not that good at figuring out when women flirt with me so maybe I'm delving to deep into this.
