What a coward. "Staying for the kids"? the kids know, and they are growing up with a massive cuck of a father who's teaching them to face problems by spreading their ass cheeks and biting down on something for the pain, and an unstable bitch whore of a mother who's teaching them that nothing in life is more important that instant gratification, consequences (and everyone else) be damned.

The guy's simply taking the path of least resistance and rationalizing his decision post-facto. He's clearly smart enough to do so eloquently, but doesn't have the guts to act on his smarts and that's costing him and his kids a lot of pain that could have been avoided.

Shit, he can still avoid it. His wife is a massive whore, a sloppy one at that, he just needs to log a few months of infidelity, contact a lawyer and set up a slam dunk divorce case. Log her abuse of the kids and fight for sole custody. Yeah it's gonna be shit but maybe, just maybe, he can start salvaging something of both his dignity and his kid's chance at a decent family education. Although at this point the damage could be irreparable for them, to be honest.

As I read it, the guy knows he lost the relationship, starts lifting be a better self, which can be seen as signs of red pill, can't it?

Additionally he wants to be a good father for his kids by not ripping apart their (admittedly dysfunctional) family.

I don't know. I'm torn on this one. He shows signs of becoming Alpha, but at the same time he bucks for a CC riding woman...

Is being a good dad against TRP ideals? Sure he's Beta as hell for also supporting his "roommates" ride on the CC. But at the same time he started lifting and improving himself.

What do you think about the aspect of being a good dad? Isn't this something also an Alpha would like to achieve? To leave his mark on the world?
