Summary: if you've been putting off a minor procedure or surgery, get it over with.

Body: I was born tongue tied. At birth, the doctors snipped the skin under my tongue. However, I always felt like the tongue was restricted, which caused me to mumble, inhibit me from enunciation, etc.

After years of putting it off, I went to the dentist and asked him about it. He said it was a minor procedure done with a laser that would further detach the tongue from the bottom of my mouth.

The procedure took 10 minutes and I'm so glad I did it. I am almost fully healed two days later and can speak clearly! From halfway across the room I can say something and people understand me!

This has been a huge confidence boost, which will lead to me speaking more, putting myself out there more, etc. I wish I had done it sooner.

I'm now considering all the other minor things I can do to improve myself; get contacts, grt a few skin tags removed, etc. Minor things that will potentially have a big impact.

Lessons Learned Stop being lazy or a pussy, get the procedure done so you can reap the benefits of feeling better.
