What happens when quotas need to be met so an under-qualified female firefighter gets the job over a qualified male firefighter. Situation arises, she can't deal with it, people die. Quotas = fall of society if it is widespread enough.

I was a victim of positive discrimination during a recent promotion opportunity. Interview went astonishingly well, myself and the section manager (an eccentric old French woman, funnily enough) got on very well. Didn't get the job, and heard from reliable sources she had been pressured by higher ups to let more women and Asians into the picture. At my expense.

Oh well, the same week I scored another promotion in the company with a better pay rise. Suck my dick!

this...this is the Canadian federal government currently. My buddy has worked there for 25 years...he says his dept has increased in size and fallen in efficiency ...but there are more gender equal! He says that almost all the new hires ( female of course) have degrees or work experience that has NOTHING to do with the job they were hired for.

This is both true and untrue.

Many companies are now operating with a skeleton crew of SJW-acceptable direct employees and farming the real work out to third party contracting companies. And these third party companies don't give 2 flying shits about diversity. Only the bottom line matters, and that often involves importing foreign male, brown labor.

That’s me at MGM Resorts International. Fucking company should change their name to MGM Immigrant Employment Services. A fortune 300 company has a veteran- University if Washington graduate - and a current MBA student at UNLV working part time as a fucking bartender. I announce that I’m working on an MBA and most of my co-workers think I say “NBA” because they’re from a third world country and that’s all they know. It doesn’t make sense to have an NBA basketball degree at UNLV in a city that doesn’t have a fucking team!!! My manager has a GED and doesn’t even know what I’m talking about when it comes to business. The overall Beverage manager has his MBA from the University of Phoenix. Being a white male in this company fucking sucks. Their main agenda is “diversity and inclusion,” not performance.

I have to go on "advanced diversity training" tomorrow. It's a requirement for all senior management in my firm. I expect that they will not tolerate diversity of thought, if one of those thoughts is that we should hire and promote the people who make us the most money. I'm going to have to spend the day smiling and nodding while they tell me to bend over backwards to pander to the endless demands for special treatment that we get from the lowest performing group in the workforce. I honestly don't know how much longer I can tolerate working in this firm.

If they want to "fix" the wage gap between the sexes, simply reclassify half of the men identify as women, and vice-versa. Bingo: problem solved with a few keystrokes.

You cannot have "Gender is a social construct unrelated to biology" and "There's a gender wage gap between men and women" at the same time. Since they insist on claiming that "gender" and "sex" are interchangeable, then so be it - let them be interchangeable all the time... tear a page out of "Rules for Radicals" and make them live up to their own standards.

Some guy in South America did that recently: he identified as female so he could get the female version of his government's retirement plan.
