I’ve often thought the best solution for marriage is to make it a series of one year contracts that automatically terminate and must be renewed anually. That way, no grievences from the prior year can carry forward into the next, since both parties chose to re-marry. And you would never have to pay lifetime alimony.

These so called "social scientists" are chasing their tails desperately tyrying to guess what could be causing the issue. Looks like this particular article is chalking it up to a class issue. The simple explanation is that women simply don't bring enough to the table anymore. Getting involved with a woman has always been risky, but these days its all risk with absolutely no reward. Why settle down with an old used up bitch and take the 50/50 odds of facing bankruptcy/financial ruin if she divorces you? You can test drive risk free. More and more millenial guys are starting to see that.

With taxes for single men on a record high (in Europe) i can not really celebrate this as a win.

On the contrary, i have no real chance to save up because my high taxes are needed to keep everything running now but when i am old, there won't be enough young men left to pay up for my pension and medical bills etc. (thanks to a record low in child births right now)

The article author quoted in the link is from Boston. Any self-respecting MGTOW knows that Massachusetts is one of the worst states in the US in which to get divorced. He's hardly one to talk. Men are commonly assigned ungodly high amounts of alimony and child support and jailed and have their licences taken away for failure to pay child support. He's in jail and can't drive and they wonder why he can't pay child support. Other bad states in the NE include New Jersey and New York state where they have life-time alimony. How evil.
