Making six figures and have done for quite a few years now.Where did it get me ...well..a partner of 22 years who sat at home doing nothing except drinking and ended up cheating on me with another alcoholic she met at the pub....loss of a 500K home , a family split up , lots of shit through the separation , and now a pile of debt . The cost of making this money is pretty big in a personal sense.I am still doing it , only to pay off debt from a divorce , and don't really have much of a life at the moment. Not so bad as I am going my own way and dont need to worry about anyone else , except my sons. I dont tell any women I meet anything , there was one woman I was talking to, got to know her a bit , she didn't want anything to do with me ...until she found out how much I made and then she was throwing herself at me.It disgusted me and I ghosted her. The thing to do is have a plan , make the money , get yourself set with a place to live and everything paid for , no credit card debt and some money in the bank.Then take it easy with a nice relaxing Monday to Friday 40 hour work week , .Enough money to buy the food , time to grow the veggies in the backyard , cut the wood for winter on the weekends , ride my motorbike with my mates during summer , with the odd trip over to Asia as its cheap to do so. After 23 years of being the Blue pill with the end result of AWALT , it is all for me and my own way now.At 44 , I am hoping to be there in about ten years from now ..maybe less.

Push for self employed so you can claim expenses and invest in capital gains which can be tax free.

I make $120k on 20 hours per week now. Got an offer on my home $300k profit in 5 years all tax free.

Off to me new venture. Dont laugh... bee farming. Seems really rewarding both financially and emotionally My goal is 1000 hives in 5 years time . If i make it that will be a $ 1 million dollar tax free business sales turning over $400k on ebita.

All depends on how well i can negotiate sites for the hives. I know i can craft the supers in my workshop.

Honestly, their ridiculous demands no longer evoke any emotion from me. Having the typical 20+ demands eliminates 99.9% of all men from their option pool. They will probably never meet or even hear of a man that meets all their original criteria.

6 figures is just an obscene salary. You can get by happily on a fraction of that. The only reason someone would need to make 100k+ is if they were gunning for a McMansion and luxury car. Which they will find out too late, doesn't give any kind of lasting happiness.

Sure maybe the chick will have a great time driving your nice new car around and not cleaning that massive house, but you, you will be stuck working like a dog to maintain that lifestyle. No one needs to make 6 figures to be happy.

Despite what they shout to the world about equality, this is what many women actually want with regard to the finances of the men they date. Note that she does not give one justification for why she should only have to make half of the guy's salary.

This isn’t a question of me wanting to be floated by someone — I will always have my job, and do everything I can to contribute as much as I can.

Women feel very strongly about things like this, until they don't anymore. I guarantee you that someone who is comfortable demanding that her man earn twice as much as she does, would be very comfortable quitting her job, if he made enough to make that possible.
