So, as someone who is completely sick of this feminized culture where you can't say shit without being called insane things, I decided to take TRP. On my way, I have discovered that pornography is so degrading, it's ridiculous. All those ads talk down on you, it's supposed to keep you docile and weak. The 97 billion dollar porn industry would love it if you would shoot out your sperm to their pixels each day, but since I stopped watching porn, I feel a LOT better.

It made me 'hungry' again, motivated again, and honestly, it makes me feel better in every way.

I know there's probably a big chunk of you around here who watch porn a lot, and I did a shitton of research and made an animation about why frequent porn usage is not healthy or good, in any way.

Now, the video itself is focused on the general population and the more scientific side to porn addiction, so it's not in the style of TRP/MGTOW etc.

Hope you enjoy, I worked long and hard on it, to help people who are how I once was, addicted to porn, without knowing it.

THE NEW TOBACCO

Im going to have to agree here. Masturbation is healthy in moderation, but cutting out porn has made me take a lot more tangible action in my life and i feel a lot socially less awkward than when i was using porn.

I also enter a lot more "flow" states than when i was using porn, it has made me "alpha"

[–]WolfofAnarchy1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Thanks. The post is at 58% upvoted, so many people don't agree with me, but the science is there and the experience of so many people makes it impossible for me to think otherwise.

Just like blue pill beta tendencies and feminist upbringing is a matrix, so too is porn.

Morpheus: The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

This quote for me my favourite, it applies to so many things. To truly unplug, takes work, work that a lot of people dont want to do or are too beaten down in life to want to change as they get older and more set in their ways. This is why things like meditation is important, it goes back to you as a real person, not just some robot following the rest of society, and THIs, is where you get a true IDGAF mentality.

Here's a recap from my own experiences.

Whether you're having ED issues or not (I wasn't) It's good to take a good long break from porn. Go ham and beat your meat as much as you desire, just do it without visual stimulation.

Having instant access to titties and women that are out of your league tricks you into thinking you're good enough. Your brain says "fuck yea, we did it!" and you lose a big part of the drive you NEED to improve yourself and your life.

I've been on and off porn a few time sin the last year and every time I cut it out I notice how different I feel. Jerking off to porn is just.. different. It's satisfying, but that satisfaction turns into a heavy weight that hangs on you for days and makes you lazy.

Jerking off without porn offers release of that sexual tension and gives you clarity, but it's not as satisfying, you don't lose that drive. It's still there, you're just not thinking about blowing your load every 30 seconds of the day.

This topic always gets a ton of FUD because a lot of guys really like porn and don't see any of the serious side effects outlined in popular videos. I really like porn too, but once you try life with and without it a few times, you start to see how much your life improves without it - despite how tempting it is just to dip your tow back in.

Just my own experience.

Do you mean to say that porn is demotivating?

Because only a small subset of porn is "degrading."

[–]fasthandssam15 points16 points  (5 children) | Copy

Maybe he doesn't mean degrading to women, but degrading to men. As in, maybe it is degrading to men to have their primary sexual relationship be with a digital screen. The same way it may be degrading to take a tiger out of the jungle and feed it pork chops in a cage.

I don't know if that's what he meant though.

[–]stemgang10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy

The word "degrading" is commonly used by sex-negative feminists to shame any men's access to sexual release through pornography. That is why I was surprised to see it used unironically by a TRPer.

As you know, the sex league vacillates between demanding no-consequences sex for women, and demanding that men have no access except through matrimony.

[–]netgrey 3 points3 points [recovered] | Copy

My theory is part of the rise of the cuck fetish is men who've grown up jerking off watching another man fuck a woman. It's not a huge leap that they then want to jerk off watching another man fuck their woman.

[–]fasthandssam2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

That's a good point. It is different to close your eyes and fantasize about fucking a woman yourself. And it's different from looking at pictures of naked women. It is as you said, literally hours and hours masturbating to other men fucking women.

Porn is absolutely degrading to men.

[–]Rynolz0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Haha, I used to think "Man these sluts will fuck ANYBODY! There's videos of the same one getting fucked by tons of ugly creepy dudes!" always boosted my confidence and I'd get hotter chicks. Who liked to fuck like freaks. Well they all do really.

[–]WolfofAnarchy0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yes, it is, sorry, I wasn't clear on that.

[–]razormachine4 points5 points  (6 children) | Copy

I had also decided to stop watching porn 15 days ago.

And I find myself braking that promise 2-3 times every day.

The weird thing... I'm not even doing it because I'm horny. It's like just to give myself 2-3 "spikes" in othervise boring day.

WTF should I do!?

[–]Ou-tis1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Visit yourbrainonporn.com and forums like yourbrainrebalanced.com. Avoid the trigger situation and do things instead. It's not easy at first, but after 1/2/3 weeks (depends on your situation) things will be better.Try to focus your time in productive habits. Example: I'm bored,I want to see some naked asses,I watch them. I'm bored,I want to see some naked asses,I know is an unproductive and dangerous thing,I suffer a little but I do another thing like read an interesting book or article,or I do some push-up or body squat or chose your healthy thing to do. Just a quick tip.

Have more interesting days.

[–]razormachine0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Stoped for four days and got myself a plate :D

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

First realise that it is an addiction. One of the strongest in my opinion because mating is one of the strongest drives in humans and a million naked women are just a click away.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

No porn and little to no masturbation should be RP protocol.

[–]RedPill80812 points13 points  (3 children) | Copy

I appreciate what your saying, and I think definitions matter. No one can become "addicted" to porn. People become dependent on porn.

Addiction directly affects physiology - e.g.: heavy daily alcohol or opiate abuse changes physiological processes in brain metabolism. Sudden withdrawal can result in death.

Dependence is reliance on something to the exclusion of all other strategies, to the point that use becomes harmful.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThotwrecker14 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy

I agree, but I believe you're splitting hairs with addiction / dependence. Guys who can't get hard when they fuck their woman because they are ... dependent ... on porn, and they are low energy, they have focus / attention problems, normal vanilla porn isn't doing it for them, they jerk of 5 times a day, etc... at some point, the common understanding of the word "addiction" is enough.

[–]Swallowed_the_pill0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

There is a big difference between physical and psychological addiction though.

Also, I would'nt really say that you are just dependant on something if you do it every single day and normal body functions, erection in this case, stops working while you are healthy and young.

Anyway. Addiction is about the reward system and rewarding it. You dont have to inject, eat, smoke or drink anything at all to provide it with stimuli. Extreme sports, ejaculation, gambling and gaming etc... Are all addictive, but your body won't become dependant on the level Heroin will.

[–]WolfofAnarchy0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Well porn creates an overstimulation and can definitely cause someone to be addicted to it, but I guess that's close to being the same as a dependency.

[–]Whitified3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

there are many matrix-es in life, they all work in more or less the same way. Control the masses, control how you think. The true red piller seeks to be unplugged from every single one of them.

[–]Ou-tis4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

I was addicted to porn and I didn't know nothing about the dangers of this habit. It's not the same for everybody, but my life was a total mess and porn was an (false) escape. And more,I was unable to have sex due to limp dick and zero lust for real women, had a paralizing anxiety and a lot of mental problems. The shit of porn is real and if you are a porn consumer, try to stop for 30 days and see the results.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I see cut out porn as advice here all the time, it just isn't emphasized enough.

Porn is a terrible thing and it's a shame so many boys will become addicted to it. Some people seem to do fine in moderation but I am just a worse person on porn.

[–]Scrawler3571 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

I can't see where the problem is if pornography reduces or eliminates women's sexual power over men. That's a woman's problem, not a man's problem. It reduces the monopoly they have on our sex drive. That's why women are constantly objecting to porn and prostitutes, not men.

Women have been using male substitutes since the invention of the cucumber. Where's the studies that have condemned their use of cucumbers?

[–]Jawxx783 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

It doesn't reduce their power over men, it enhances it. Instead of giving your attention to things that matter or will make you successful (which will also get you women) you are too focused on women. And too much of a beta to get the girls you are wasting your attention on. When I have unplugged from my addiction its unreal the difference in my interactions with women. But at the same time porn hurts them as well because its turning all their prospects into betas.

[–]Scrawler3570 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

If your goal is to get women then you're right. However, if your goal is to avoid relationships, then porn is great if it helps you be independent of them because it certainly reduces or eliminates their power over men,,, like I said,,, and the article said. It turns all their prospects into betas???,,,who cares?, that's their problem. What's that got to do with the Red Pill?

[–]captainoftheosiris0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I made a throwaway account specifically for all things TRP, and my content settings were automatically set to "under 18". Yeah, I can just switch accounts to look at porn subs, but it's a good reminder for me that porn shouldn't be something I rely on as a Red Pill male. It's helped me to cut down significantly on watching porn and masturbating, although a lot of that also has to do with the fact that I went from having sex a few times a month to multiple times a week.

I should post something about this on ThankTRP.

[–]TedTheAtheist0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I've never been interested in porn, strippers, prostitutes, tattoos, alcohol or other drugs, cigs or anything.

People say it's weird, but... I just don't care about any of that. I'd rather get the real thing for sex, and I don't get lonely.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

'Libido Dominandi', and 'Sex & Culture' - these might be good books on OP's topic. There are several more on this subject.

Great video. It was one thing for me to stop watching porn. I still feel awful without it, but I also am able to go to the gym to reward what I am lacking as a source of pleasure. My biggest issue is the gay community. I would think that being gay, sex is freely had- after all, men want sex. It's true, we gay men love sex. But over a few days I played a little game of knock out, by shit testing hundreds of men to hook up through Grindr. We have our heads so far up our asses (not even literally) with porn, that the only guys who are a actually having desirable sex are those who get to practice in a committed relationship, or the hottest guys whom are being lusted after. People will proposition me for gangbangs, golden showers, fisting, ect, ect. Especially when I do not upload a picture to my profile. I am not white, and I'm not in perfect shape, but I'm very handsome and growing- so tell me why men who are beneath me in terms of intelligence and attractiveness still turn me down when they see a picture of me. The answer is porn. We have become so wired to it that we'd rather just get the nudes pictures out of someone to judge them as in a porn catalog, and then harshly block them as if they are a freak. I see the same men on these apps time and time again and you would think after years of being on them they would find someone remotely satisfying to be with. This one guy literally told me he wasn't selfish. Asked to give me a free blow job, and then backed out when he saw a picture of little ol' me. He said he'd still be alright for me and bunch of other guys to gangbang him though. Fuck porn, right in its virtual hand-pussy. I'm just not interested in girls, but I'm starting to think it's the only viable option for sex. Bitches are giving it up today like sex is going out of style (must be going out of style). And you don't even have to be the best looking guys to nail them. All the confidence and growth I could ever accomplish will never help me get laid with other men. I have to look like a god in order for that to happen, either that or fuck men who are so far beneath me that I'm turned all the way off, thus, no satisfaction.

[–]WolfofAnarchy0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Damn that sucks, I think the main thing you need to do is to continue not watching it, but to work on your confidence mate.

Also, don't blame all of it on porn, but keep improving day in day out.

[–]AceofRains0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Like I said, all the confidence in the world doesn't help with gay men. If confidence is all it took then I'd be swimming in gay orgies. No- when it comes to this you're either hot or not. Either get fit or remain irrelevant. Confidence is less than 10% of this battle. Most gay dudes found confidence long ago especially if they came out of the closet.

[–]Jawxx780 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I have challenged guys who have frequent sex to give up pornography and they couldn't. Tabacco isnt even a proper comparison. Porn addiction is more dangerous than tobacco. Its consumed at a higher rate or percentage of population, it is free and easily accessible, there are really no restrictions on it, the science on it isnt common knowledge, and alot of people refuse to believe its a problem or even ridicule you for trying to get off of it. Not to mention usage is invisible. No one would know you are using and the effects of usage up until ED seem normal too. By the time society realizes it has a major porn-addiction problem, it will be too late.

97 billion dollar porn industry

I don't understand how that is. Women give away p0rn for free these days. It takes almost no convincing to get a gal to let me get a video of her blowing me. Who are paying these people?

Slight problem with your theory - pornography has been around for thousands of years - found with roman soldiers in parthia to murals in villas in roman towns, which suggests that it was mass produced and used by all segments of society. If your theory was true - the negative effects would have long doomed the human race.

Now, that's not to say porn or anything else can't be addictive (dieting, fighting, etc), but this has more to do with the people who have a genetic predisposition to addiction versus the actual item itself.

Lastly, for your health you should be engaging in either sex or masturbation at least every other day at a minimum - otherwise, you will be crippling your sperm.

This article is a bit old and is from the guardian back before the SJW's took it over, but i'll copy and paste the relevant info

http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2003/jun/30/highereducation.sciencenews

looked at sperm samples from around 6,000 men who had abstained from sex for up to two weeks. Most had normal sperm counts, but roughly a third of their sperm counts were low, meaning they produced less than 20m sperm per millilitre. Researchers found that if men had low sperm counts their sperm steadily became less mobile after an average of one day's abstinence. Their sperm also began to suffer subtle changes in shape, a sign that the sperm were going stale. But the sperm of men with normal sperm counts showed little change in mobility after abstinence, and did not begin to go stale until much later.

Two key takeaways - for 30% of men - abstinence affected their sperm production and shape negatively. Secondly, even for the other 70%, abstinence still caused negative impacts on their sperm - it just a longer time.

P.S - a follow up study was conducted later on and it found that the negative long term impact of abstinence persisted long after regular sex resumed. Also, that the reason why 30% had low sperm counts, which is a large percentage, was because abstinence caused their testes to produce less

Dude seriously...comparing ancient murals, frescoes, statues, etc. to high speed HD internet porn (with pretty much every kink/fetish/genre/perversion available) is ridiculous.

The Blue Pill has always existed in one form or another as the way tyrants have controlled the masses... so does that make the Blue Pill (slavery) a good thing?

The Red Pill is about living a better life and that means Killing the Beta tendencies which includes things like tv watching, porn, video games, etc.

Just because the human condition has always tolerated slave behavior (beta) does not make it something to admire.

Ancient slaves, ancient hedonists, modern porn addicts... they all fall short of masculine ideals.

[–]Redpillc0re2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

The comparison of ancient frescoes with today's porn-masturbation complex is inadequate. The context of the two is very very different. Sex wasn't vilified by ancient religion, and a "pornographic" image or statue didn't lead to addictive masturbation. A more appropriate comparison would be to compare the modern porn-masturbation addiction to the addiction of roman youths to whores, brothels and sluts. It was frowned upon just as porn is frowned upon today, and the elders would tell you not to indulge too much.

[–]yummyluckycharms1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Nobody is addicted to porn....and there is zero evidence of that.

Secondly, roman youths weren't addicted to brothels or sluts - I have no idea where you got this from. There is zero evidence in primary sources of centurions having to round up the troops from the brothels - and if prostitutes were such a drawback, they certainly wouldn't have allowed them to follow the army and set up camp in the bases - along with cooks, priests, and even slaves.

[–]Redpillc0re0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

You didn't read right:

I didn't say addictive pornography, but "addictive masturbation".

I also said that the analogy to brothel addiction would be more apt. Not that it existed.

The romans of course though no big deal of sex in brothels with both women and boys. They frowned upon overindulgence, however.

A cursory outlook here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexuality_in_ancient_Rome

[...] sexual behaviors outside marriage were to be confined to slaves and prostitutes, or less often a concubine or "kept woman." Lack of self-control, including in managing one's sex life, indicated that a man was incapable of governing others;[150] the enjoyment of "low sensual pleasure" threatened to erode the elite male's identity as a cultured person.[151] It was a point of pride for Gaius Gracchus to claim that during his term as a provincial governor he kept no slave-boys chosen for their good looks, no female prostitutes visited his house, and he never accosted other men's slave-boys.[152]
