I feel ya. I'm in a tough spot politically nowadays, because I don't care for how Republicans do things in general. I've considered myself a deomcrat/leftist for a while.

But the party has become increasingly fixated on SJW causes and Feminism. They refuse to focus on things that actually matter and instead want to look for the next issue of social justice to champion. They're throwing men under the bus at this point and a lot of guys are starting to see that this is getting into very dangerous territory. Like you said.. our right of due process is being threatened and ripped away by all this #metoo hysteria. It's very uncomfortable to think that a few sentences from a woman can possibly destroy a man's ability to pay his bills and drag his reputation through the dirt.

It should be clear now that women are going to KEEP pushing and will not be satisfied with any measure of "progress" they receive. They will continue to find areas of society where they feel there are "injustices" and work to change them to fit their idealized perceptions of how things should be. I agree that women basically want to engineer the entirety of male/female sexual relations to their specifications. And for men that don't follow this predetermined narrative and set of rules, you will be destroyed.

I am utterly black pilled on politics. I adhere to the horseshoe theory in the sense that both sides are mostly alike. You still have TradCon cucks on the right just as they have cucks on the left.

I personally think that politics is theatrical to the general public. There are many layers in which influence real change so just getting your man aka 'Trump' into power is not going to solve shit. But I suspect this is better than having Hillary in power.

I'd encourage you to focus on the individual -- what they say, and more importantly, what they do.

The Ansari headlines are a sign of the times. Women pushing for more government-backed power and the individual girl's attention grab are definitely a factor, but there's also something weird going on with the West's obsession with pop-culture and social media. These type of click-bait articles end up getting massively distributed by people that misplace their energy; this drives revenue and encourages more of the same from these pseudo-news-agencies. I cannot imagine an existence where virtue signaling and looking for an escape from my own life would become a priority.

The pill goes down rough. My childhood years were spent in the most traditional, conservative environment that you can imagine. I was taught that men should be the protectors and providers for women, and that women would reciprocate in traditional feminine ways. Learning how the exaggerated nature of women manifests when they are given power over men through governing entities... well, that was a bit of a shock.

MGTOW hits the nail on the head when it comes to the uneven power distribution in intersex relationships. That said, this specific community is not necessarily good as a whole. An unfortunate, common theme here is to give out free passes to squander your life as long as you have given up on marriage. Spending too much time in an echo chamber with these loosely-shared values is not good for anyone. So interalize, " ... how things really are.", but don't become a victim to blanket women-hating or hedonism.

It's an understandably difficult choice between the libtards and tradcucks but you're right that the politicians who're supporting the witch hunt are our personal enemies. Gillibrand is the number one on my list (for bringing a proven false rape accuser the "Mattress girl" to the State of the Union no less...). I do not like Trump much but at this point I'd vote or even campaign for him should she or ANY other woman run in three years. They have such a strong in-group bias for their own gender on top of their victimhood mentality that it's not even funny anymore. Even at work, all of them are supporting the PoundMeToo either openly or quietly. They are no friends of ours, that's for sure.

You describe my experience perfectly. Up until #metoo, I was definitely in the Democratic camp. Attended the 2016 women's march. I supported my "sisters" in opposing what I perceived as regressive policies and attitudes toward women, lgbt, and others I thought were genuinely interested in an open and free society - a society where all are free to live as they choose and free to accept the responsibilities attending those choices.

But not any more. That's over. Thanks to the lynching of Al Franken and the rest of this pandemic of petty, small-minded acting out and the irresponsibility of so-called leaders who have enabled and encouraged it through a combination of active support and cynical, calculated, corrosive silence.

The three senators you mentioned are politically dead to me now. I will not now nor will I ever vote for or support them for any office. And I will not vote for anyone who supports them openly. It's entirely possible that I may actively vote for candidates opposing them, though voting Republican or even third-party makes my stomach turn. That's how bad it is.

I have been a contributor of both time and money in the past to progressive campaigns and causes, but that too has stopped. I still get the emails and the postal mails and the texts; now they all get dumped. I'll reevaluate my options around September. If this shit is continuing at that time, I will likely sit the mid-terms out.

Trump and company can have the place as far as I'm concerned right now.

The problem with not only the..."left" in the United States, but the left in general is that it's trying too desperately to be progressive or try and pander to special interest groups. In my opinion, a lot of the political left has completely abandoned their roots as the party that represented the working class man. The coal miners, the factory workers, fishermen etc. all need someone to look after their interests. They were the ones that turned on the Democrats after decades of loyalty and being ignored, although they've been ignored by both sides.

Voting is useless though. In the US, the current Potus is in charge despite losing the popular vote. In my country, people always put the same elites in power, and it is actually a plutocracy oligarch. Politically I feel like you need to find the issues that are most important to you. You’re not going to agree with every policy/stance that the candidate/party you support takes.

Personally, I think if you aren’t skeptical of at least a few candidate/party stances, you’re probably uninformed and participating in identity politics.

I hate the SJW agenda and it seems to be associated with dems, maybe for good reason. I think this is part of the reason dems have failed recently. They put far too much time and effort into things like race and gender. The bulk of their effort should be going towards socioeconomic status. Although, I believe they’ll be successful in the midterms because of Trump’s incompetence.

As a young person who comes from a working class family who is most politically passionate about; protecting the little guy from corporations and access to healthcare as a human right and developing evidence based policy. I will always be a dem. But because of the recent emergence of the SJW branch of the Democratic Party, I will always be a moderate Democrat.
