Nerds seem to be impervious to the manipulative, destructive nature of women, and hence they can't be controlled.

On the contrary, women try to manipulate nerds because they perceive themselves as more attractive. In the eyes of women, this makes nerds easier to control. I wouldn't say that women hate nerds, since they just view them as ATM machines.

It's funny how society and women call nerds "losers", when in actuality they are far smarter than they will ever be and are an essential component to society in general.

In the eyes of women, a "winner" or "good man" is just an attractive one, not one that's creative or intellectually inclined.

I agree with the theory (speaking as a nerd in his 40s). The best kind of man, to a woman, is malleable and easily directed. That doesn't work on men who are dedicated to reason. Some nerds get married regardless because they can't be alone - I've heard them describe it as being "tethered". I can't relate, my world needs to make sense.

In high school I was a very skinny, scrawny, awkward, glasses wearing nerd. My best friends were nerds.

Strangely, at 18, I grew like a weed and went to 6'2' and put on weight. Started playing in a band and kind of broke out of the nerd mold, even though my best friends were still nerds.

Now, decades later, my best friend who's still nerd-like I guess, quiet, glasses, awkward--got married to a horrible creature. She belittles him, treats him like shit and shows zero appreciation for what he's provided her... house, cars, savings, etc. I feel sad because he tries so hard to rationalize his situation.

Its much different now. You generally don't see people actively going against nerds as the age of the internet. Typically women are more or less indifferent to the men they don't find attractive.

A lot of the high school Chads don't age well. For a guy life was on easy mode for them socially so they never had pressure to adapt. Some take it upon themselves to take care of themselves but a lot of them just fall apart as they age. The nerds in high school typically grow up and a lot of them also fall apart physically but some figure out how to take care of themselves and end up in the above average adult camp.
