He is naive because he believes what mainstream sites like Buzzfeed and AskMen tell him and he also has been led to believe that women never lie. To win an argument, you have to use logic but it will only work if the person you are debating is also a rational person. First of all, tell him about what a woman's vision of a perfect man is, and show him that its unattainable and use relatable examples from your own life. If he is a male feminist, then the first thing you need to do is dismantle the lie of feminism and show him the truth, afterwards keep making baby steps towards red pilling him. I did that with my childhood friend and although it hasnt turned him into a mgtow, thanks to me, he is red pilled about feminism and he is not a simp like his other friends. My friend told me that the reason he cannot go mgtow is because he has no experience with women so he is curious.

If you want to make the point about the dad bod, show him the black pill, not the videos, but explain it to him, and make him understand that a guy like Henry Cavill is obviously going to be more successful with women than the average man, show him its the same with good looking men who are criminals or very poor, tell him about looks, money and status. He is right that personality matters but only in the sense that a guy has to be confident to talk to people and if he is not, then he cant talk, and if he cant talk then he cant get women, even if he is attractive. So its not so much personality but really just confidence, but confidence is just a prerequisite that you need to even qualify, if a guy is confident but low SMV, he is going to get rejected anyways.
