I personally don't hate women. I date or have one night stands here & there because, heterosexual.

for me, I "go my own way" when it comes to the behavior of women. for instance, just tonight a girl's exact words to me were "you're really cute. you should buy me a drink." when I laughed & asked why I should, she said "because I'm a woman & it's the gentleman thing to do." I told her to have a nice night & walked off.

see, women do shit like that all the time because well, some men allow them to. they feel as if their looks or generally being in your company is some kind of privilege to you...like you should be thankful because they have a vagina & are in your presence. doesn't apply to all of course (no matter what you're told here...) but a great majority of women have this mentality. I'm certain a few guys bought her a drink & when she received it, she made up some excuse to leave without so much as having an actual conversation.

going your own way is however you interpret it. disallowing women to treat you as a substandard being while getting what they want is a large portion of it. I don't necessarily agree with treating women like nothing but cum dumpsters but I always let them know I won't tolerate their bullshit because I prefer to act like the adults we are.

focus on yourself... the things you want in life, as opposed to trying to fit into the "fairytale" women want to create that only benefits them. make yourself happy above else.

It's about developing a spine. Be your own man. Don't let society dictate to you how to live your life. If you listen to society, you will have a career that makes a ton of money in order to get the attention of a woman, get married, make babies. A spineless guy will do what is expected of him, working at a job they hate because just so they can put a roof over a woman's head and feed their kids. A MGTOW will enjoy his life because he has no outside pressure make a ton of money. Instead he will live the life that he wants. He will do what he wants, when he wants it.

BTW . . . If you are young and MGTOW. You just might retire early. More and more men are realizing this. If you work heard at a young age you could end up retiring at the age of 40. One more reason to go MGTOW.

Some MGTOW hate women, some don't, just as some MGTOW are vegetarians and some aren't. There is no single mentality or "Way of the MGTOW". Christ, why is this so fucking hard for people to understand? MGTOW is whatever you want it to be. Nobody can dictate what you as a man do in this life.

Personally, I dislike women at large. They are morally reprehensible, dishonorable, childlike deceivers who only seek to take and rob a man of his time, resources, and energy while giving as little in return as possible. That's just the nature of women, and it is constant, unwavering. They are, inherently, just piss poor people. Are there men who meet this criteria? Absolutely. Difference is, it is ingrained in a woman to be this way: her biology demands it.

MGTOW who have moved out of the anger stage (which we were in for good reason such as being cheated on, divorce-raped, betrayed, etc by women) recognize and simply don't care enough to entertain women in any facet besides maybe the occasional fuck if that's your game. Sort of like how people view sharks or viruses- you can hate them for what they do, eat everything in sight or make you sick, but it's pointless because that's just what they do.

So, as a MGTOW, I stay away from them on every level. I have no use for such a creature romantically, platonically, what have you. That's MY way, my credo as a MGTOW. Yours may or not be the same, but you sound like a closet fuckin' feminist. Maybe the simp in you hasn't died yet, but this is not the place for your pandering bullshit in that "good, moral, righteous women exist". They don't. Any you THINK exist are just merely wolves in sheep's clothing and waiting for their chance to rob some good man of everything he holds dear.

"Generalization is stupid" is a stupid statement and whoever believes that should play a few rounds of Texas Hold'em so I can watch them fold a AA hand on preflop.

I don't hate woman, but ended up quite disgusted with those who I was intimate enough with to see their true colors. I saw cunningness, emotional manipulation, irrational thought, fights for stupid reasons (it feels to me that woman have the need to fight in a relationship once in a while, and this is beyond my understanding), and pretty much blatant lies. Lots of lies. My close male friends does zero of any of that. Why is it?

But hey, maybe I'm just a bad picker.

Whatever it is, I think I'm more of a loner. Even my greatest friends might go for months without getting any news from me. Being constantly close to someone everyday makes me feel burned out, unfocused.

I don't know if is there anything MGTOW is trying to achieve. I just heard about it, and was glad to have contact with like-minded. Still, it feels like the term is being highjacked by ~~misandrist~~ misoginists or people who can't get attention from a woman ("one blowjob away from being pussy-whipped").

It's not a movement and no one is trying to achieve anything. Contemporary western society is an echo chamber where the idea of a male living for himself and not taking on suicidal risks for the benefit of a woman isn't exactly well-received, so no one bothers trying to change anyone's mind.

The only real common thread is that substantially investing in a girl is stupid at best and dangerous at worst. You can NoFap and be MGTOW, you can be a deviant Hentai lover and be MGTOW, you can be PUA and be MGTOW, you can have a long-term monogamous girlfriend and be MGTOW (though letting her live with you opens yourself up to unwise legal problems). All MGTOW means is that you don't view women as necessary to happiness and live as such.

I'm sure there are some that straight up hate all women. However most of those you get that vibe from are just angry and it's just a phase. Anger is natural and temporary. I'm friends with women. I wouldn't mind dating but my standards are high. Someone attractive and has their shit together, no kids no craziness. In other words a unicorn. But I'm not looking, and I'll never put them first second or third, will never get married or even co-habitate. Most MGTOW are just indifferent.

Sounds like you got a lot of it down. Keep reading about female nature and manginas. I'm kinda lucky in that no on in my family has try to shame me about not having a girlfriend or wife, but that's not the case with most. Be prepared for it. Other than that get a job or maybe go into a trade, save as much as you can. Live as cheap as you can. Avoid debt like the plague. When you do get an income continue to live frugal but when you do splurge do it on something cool, like a new hobby or something. Above all else have fun, you only have about 5 decades left.

I don't hate them anymore. I've accepted them for who and what they are. However, I do not accept a married life nor the notion that a man should be a workhorse for women.

I know several men 20 years older than me (I'm 24), that are just that: bitches for their wives. These men are miserable, defeated, under the thumb, castrated, angry and tired.

In a way feminism has granted us men the possibility not to step into this trad-con idealism of working like a dog for an ungrateful wife, in the hope she may open her legs once a month. If it didn't, I'd have killed myself by now.

So what's the MGTOW mindset? Part hedonism, part apathy. Every man must define his path himself. I know mine, and for that I am grateful.

Nothing about MGTOW requires you to hate women. There are MGTOW who do, but that's not what it's about. Even knowing the truth about female behavior and motivations, I'm on the far left "OMG SJW ALERT!" end of this. I think women have every bit the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as men. The problem is that, the way women and society operate, men are treated as having less of a right to those things. Men are routinely asked, expected, or even legally required to give them up for women's benefit.

To me, MGTOW at it's heart is basically a big "Fuck that!" to that reality. Nobody is looking out for YOUR best interests unless you do it yourself.

I am not an earner or a provider or part of their supply chain as I am going my own way. The MGTOW mentality usually comes only after realizing that you (yes, you) are living like a parasite, clinging desperately to every shred of positive attention you receive from men and women alike. The reason you see women singled out is because a lot of men are rightly irritated that women are held to a lower standard in all aspects of life. Life as a man is lonelier, harder, less rewarding, and often bleaker due to plain old lack of estrogen. But we tell men that they're privileged, which removes their agency and dismisses their accountability for their own success.

Add in the hypocrisy of women demanding they be treated as the soul autonomous agents responsible for their successes and you get a lot of red pill, disillusioned guys foaming at the mouth.
