Don't mention statistics for reasons if asked or it comes up. Just go with the old "I haven't met the right one" or "I was dating this girl but we have different views on things."

There's no reason to ever tell them.

First, they're parents, so they just think it's a phase.

Second, they'll tell others about it, like you're a boy who won't eat his vegetables.

Third, they don't give a shit about your lame problems. Where's my grandkids is usually the most important part to them.

You DON'T allow a store owner into your house and agree to have them leave only if you give them an argument why you don't want to buy from them.

You come into THEIR store and tell them you'll leave unless THEY convince you why you SHOULD buy from them.

In other words;

Do not fucking tell anyone about your views like OP said, pretend to be a blank slate, you're unbiased and curious, you force others to sell you on the idea of marriage. Then start chipping away at their arguments while pretending to be stupid;

"You'll be happy!" I could have sworn I was generally in a good mood, odd, why do you need marriage to be happy?

"You'll be complete!" What does that mean?

"You'll be lonely!" Oh boy I wouldn't want that.. do family and friends not count tho?

"You'll have someone to talk to" Sounds good! How is that different to having friends and family to talk to?

I have made this same mistake as well. Luckily, haven’t received any back lash or anything but people definitely think I’ve lost my mind lol. I haven’t gone too deep into MGTOW stuff with people I know (with the exception of my best friend who has really bought into it). Told people that I don’t really see a point in getting married and I think I’m better off staying single. That alone has baffled people lol.

That's the rule with MGTOW, we must let people come to it, we don't come to people. Blue Pill is strong and they'll be stuck on that until something major slaps them hard in the face. Then, hopefully they'll start questioning why things are the way they are and what is wrong with society. Then, they'll be ready to adopt MGTOW.

I was so happy when I discovered MGTOW... And, of course, I wanted to let everyone know that I was a MGMOW.

That was an error.

Eventually, I became so comfortable and confident about my views and philosophy that I reached a point where I didn't need external validation of any kind.

I never use the term MGTOW and I don't go around volunteering information about my status. However, when it comes up, I am not going to pretend I am something I am not. For instance, when asked why I don't date I will say something like, "I am not interested". Typically the response is "are you gay?" I will answer "no." Aren't you worried about dying alone? "No" The important part is to be very matter of fact about it and say as little as necessary. Don't debate them or try to sell it with facts. It's just a personal preference like your favorite color and you can't explain why. This approach has shut down everybody that has attempted the conversation with me.

Oh, I have no problem telling other family members. I don't use MGTOW or terminology as - I don't even think MGTOW guys agree on terminology. Does it mean you never have sex until you're dead? Never in an LTR? Never in a LTR that's not ideal on your terms? Can you see a girl on a vacation in a foreign country? Etc.

Basically, I have no issues talking about red pill topics with family HOWEVER, in the work and professional world it is much harder and not feasible. Feminism is spreading it's wings in anything corporate. If you want to work, it's hard to have any conservative or red pill stance. If you make your own money then it's fine.

I feel for ya dude. My stepmom tried to pressure me to go ask out the a waitress at a restaurant my parents go to who is also a babysitter for my half sisters. I flat out out told her I can't just ask a random girl out without actually knowing them a bit at least. I also mentioned that I wanted to focus on stabilizing myself financially before I deal with girls so much, though I was more than fine if a girl approached me. She balked at that assuming any girl like that must not be that good. Keep in mind, my dad was the one to go after her and got rejected a few times before the final yes. There's plenty of reasons why I could see him regretting that now, some of which I won't even say in one sitting because, lets just say, his own mom doesn't know of some of the shit that went down. Highly noticeable too, that my dad was less pushy on it to a degree and although he may not outright say it, he's happy that despite me not having a set skill yet, he knows there's potential in me and at the very least I want to do what I need to do to be financially independent, away from debt, loans, family help, etc. I wish they'd see more value in me being straight edge/non partier all my life too, even at 24, but that's different stuff.
