There's a big problem with this stuff. Guys wanting to research everything before getting field experience.

It can lead to all sorts of cognitive problems. If guys read everything, and assume it's all truth they will look for it. It forms confirmation bias.

Also, if we believe certain things such as 'she's one hundred percent going to branch swing', then we have a way of perpetuating those things.

It's why I don't like PUA's. They want to convince guys that they know THE truth of what will happen if you buy their course.

Bullshit, all they can tell you is what happened that one time.

Go out and try for yourself.

The problem in this theory is lack of actual experience and yes, the age of misinformation.

The world used to be informative, then it went on be information monopoly (dark ages), then information mystery, then now we came to new loop since internet, be a new informative age, and monopoly no longer possible, we straight enter misinformation.

When I read your post I immediately thought of René Descartes' "Rules for the Direction of the Mind".

Specifically, rule 3 came to mind:

Rule 3 In the subjects we propose to investigate, our inquiries should be directed, not to what others have thought, not to what we ourselves conjecture, but to what we can clearly and perspicuously behold and with certainty deduce; for knowledge is not won in any other way.

Descartes was truly ahead of his time when it comes to this kind of stuff. I'd highly recommend reading the entirety of "Rules for the Direction of the Mind".

The problem is that BP principals have stronger empirical evidence on the shallow level than RP principals.

To notice RP principals you really have to have certain level of understanding to start looking for right things (and when overdone can lead to confirmation bias which we can see here a lot). You have to understand different factors to get the whole picture.

Equations:

BP: Simplified understanding of human action + strong (biased) empirical data = easy to digest and agree with
RP: Understanding of complex human action + weak/hidden empirical data = hard to digest and agree with

So I kind of disagree your post. It was good until half way and then you started concentrating on wrong things. If I wrote about the topic, I would write it from the aspect of observing empirical data with deeper understanding of human behaviour which is prerequirement to actually see what is there because otherwise "BP empirical data" will overwhelm you because "rich and good looking guys get all the hot girls" which is actually true most of the time if you observe things on shallow level.

Empirical data is useless without sufficient understanding. We know this is true with BP and it should be obvious with RP too (which is why ECs must keep correcting guys).

Hopefully we get actual scientific studies to confirm RP and get the as objective truth as possible (there is some studies which are quoted from time to time here). Until then RP is just bro science which has become ideology/religion for some of the guys. Only few can analyze empirical data close-objectively Rollo being one of them but he gets disregarded by certain groups of guys which just emphasizes the fact that RP is becoming a religion for some guys. "Rollo doesn't seem alpha so he is cuck and he can't understand RP" - how dumb is that.

And just to be clear, even tho I consider RP to be somewhat bro science - there definitely is many truths there - I'm just looking forward of behavioural sciences confirming RP principles more comprehensively and hoping that feminine paradigm doesn't prevent it.

Then there is placebo effect. If someone is believing in prayer and it makes him feel better; does it matter if it’s true or not?

Sometimes people can become miserable after taking their beliefs. It doesn’t matter if they were believing in wrong or stupid things. What matters that those beliefs were making their life ‘easier’ at least they were believing that.
