The young man’s guide for a simplistic way to finding his purpose and fulfilling it

I was recently PMed for advice by a young man frustrated by trying to implement the advice here, but finding himself stuck with the same defeated attitude. The complaints he made were all too familiar to the voice in my head 6 years ago when I began my journey into swallowing TRP:

“How the fuck can I grow the fuck up man?”

“I’ve been a bitch for too long”

“I’m tired of letting life pass me by. I try everything, I workout 6 times a week, try not to watch porn, and try to educate myself daily on my goal. But still I lost my swag”

“How the fuck do I believe in myself?”

If this is resonating with you, don’t trip. There’s hope. Here’s my message to the struggling young man unknowing of his purpose:

“I’m gonna give ya some medicine man but it ain’t gonna taste good. (RIP Patrice)

First, I get where you’re coming from man, but this shit ain’t easy or everyone would do it.

Second, It takes more than working out 6 days a week and trying not watching porn to live a fulfilled life (Read: applying a miniscule amount of what’s learned here). You still have a self-defeatist attitude. It’s no one's fault but your own. You are not a fucking victim. Take responsibility for where you are and know that you still have a fuck ton of work to do. And that’s okay.

Third and most importantly, the lack of confidence you have in yourself and the reason you’re not fulfilled is because you’re living your life in a way that you’re not proud of. If you were truly working towards your goals and aspirations and getting closer each day you would be fulfilled. The destination doesn’t and NEVER MATTERED. Read that again. It’s the journey man. Once you get to the top, you’ll realize that it wasn’t enough to satisfy you either and you'll plot a new course to be fulfilled again. This time for an even more strenuous climb and higher peak. Raw confidence will grow when you truly respect your efforts to get to where you want to be. If you’re frustrated, it’s because you’re dicking around not putting forth the effort into getting where you want to be. It takes a metric FUCK TON of dedication, practice, and failure to make it. You’re half assing it and then wondering why you’re not satisfied. Cause you instinctively know you’re not giving it your all and wasting precious free time on time wasting activities. How can you respect yourself and your progress if deep down you know you’re not giving it your best shot? Again, this shit ain’t easy man.

Pull yourself up by the bootstraps, splash some freezing water on your face, and get fucking cranking. I mean forreal this time.

Evaluate what you want and then make a list on how to get there, for as little or as many things as you aspire to. Then each and every fucking day you look at that list and ask yourself did you get closer by following your plan. And if you did, you’ll nod and feel fulfilled. If you did not, you will continually lack confidence and forever lose your swag.

I know this ain’t what you want to hear and quite frankly I don’t give a shit. There should be a pit growing in your stomach by now; Unease as you read this. Good. That’s you being afraid of failure and afraid to give your all. Might just be easier to read this, feel good for 30 minutes, and change nothing right? No. Fuck that and fuck you. Force yourself to do it, build momentum, take all steps necessary every day by getting rid of time wasting activities and replacing them with actions that get you closer to your goal.

Right now, close your eyes and picture the life you want. Actually picture it. This should take 5 or more minutes to visualize. Write down what it looks like (IN INK ON PAPER) and then write down steps to get there. You are lying to yourself if your internal dialogue is saying “you don’t know the steps to get there.” Throw that horseshit right out the window.

Time is the most valuable commodity we have. You Fucking ready yet or wanna live a mediocre life drowning in unfulfillment? As you thinketh, so shall you be. What’s it gonna be brotha?"

While that's true, if you don't know how to play the game, the game will play you. You don't want to be a billionaire being taken advantage of by women, or anyone for that matter.

[–]Lion_Of_Mara5 points6 points  (4 children) | Copy

Getting laid isn't the main goal of the sub.

[–]FatGirlsInPartyHats8 points9 points  (3 children) | Copy

What? Have you seen the side bar? This is a sexual strategy sub at its heart.

[–]cleftscout21 points22 points  (0 children) | Copy

The goal of the sub is to train to be someone who gets laid (if they want) as a result of being a more complete, fulfilled, and masculine man. They coincide and both of you are mostly correct.

Completely agree, confidence comes from living a life you're proud of. That is IT.

35 is PRIME if you took care of yourself both physically and financially in your mid to late 20s.

I'm shocked at how many people don't set goals and then keep track of their progress.

Purpose and fulfillment are two things that one can read hundreds of posts/books and hear several coachs and never find them. It is hard to explain how to be proud of yourself and surely is not lifting and going (and not doing) on a NoFap journey but one thing that might help is detaching of everything. Attachment is for pratical reasons a form of identification with an object or a person. If you identify yourself with something/someone else, then you are going to place its/his/her interests ahead of yours and probably is going to give them the power of decision over your life.

The hard part is that attachment can also be done with concepts. For instance, when someone search for the red pill in order to become an alpha, they're placing their safety in something external to them (you can also see it as placing the safety in a future state of being, something Nietzsche's readers will recognize as a perfect example of slave morality: doing things in the present for the sake of a future that might not exist). I am not saying that all these posts are pointless (many of them are great) but that the path to be fulfilled, to be an alpha (or whatever the fuck you want) is inside of you. It is not about reading and following tutorials, it is about a mindset and to build it, you need to destroy yours (and that's painful). But life is nothing but a constant cycle of building and destroying. Your goal is to let go of these cycles and enjoy what they have to offer.

Is it truly possible to change this picture in you that you are longing for ?

Its like buying a old car vs a new car, you truly want the new one but even if you buy the old and accept that it is the better choice. You still are longing for the new car.

Im in a position in life where i have a stable foundation but nothing more. I still want so much things to be "happy" done, this can be very overwhelming. It never stops does it ?

[–]diejager1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Of course it is. This process is taking the red pill (don't think about this sub, think about the first Matrix movie): it is the process of freeing yourself from a reality that is not what it seems. It is painful, but pain is just a state between two pleasures (and vice-versa).

In your situation for instance, your inability to find happiness is because of identification with material goods. You said yourself: you need so many things that is overwhelming. The situation of the old car for instance is the perfect example: you buy the old car (why? Do you truly need it?) and suffers because wanted the new one when you could have saved more money to buy the new one instead (but again, why? For whom you are buying this car? For yourself or for showing your new car to others and say: "hey, look how my car is fancy"?). And that's the point: most of times our identification is in ideas within us and the result in our actions is desire. The unfulfilled desire is painful because of the attachment.

You're offering platitudes to a bunch of zoomers who have no idea of how their State has intersected a bunch of anthropological and systemic philosophies to condition them mentally, emotionally and behaviorally.

I'm not saying it's not a good cause, but it takes an absolute total paradigm shift to have any chance of success.

Most of these kids don't read, don't write, don't lift, and live in a world of commodified, post-modern masculinity.

Show me something different, kiddies.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil10 points11 points  (1 child) | Copy

So now you see why I attacked you a year ago over mindfulness....lol

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Agreed, although some times platitudes are very much welcome.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil13 points14 points  (14 children) | Copy

All of this sounds like Mindfulness to me. Mindfulness is a giant Jordan Peterson Cuckfest who's purpose is to have people turn inward instead of understanding the root causes that caused the problem in the first place

The economy, culture and social relations that used to give people a sense of purpose and comfort in the 2010's is in the process of crumbling. The people who are egoicaly invested in those things are psychologically crumbling as well.

You know all those TardBros who's sole purpose in life was to fuck bitches get money? Well now the middle class is on life support so their is no money and all the bitches are wearing a corona burka aka face mask.

Self help, motivation and mindfulness are smoke screens to keep you distracted so you won't see the next big penis rocketing toward your asshole. That's why Barnes and Nobles sells those books and not Red Pill books.

You have a negative attitude bro, isn't real advice. Get the fuck out of America is real advice.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear222[S] 14 points15 points  (12 children) | Copy

Disagree, your attitude is everything in this existence. It’s what dictates your behavior and how you react to anything and everything.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil0 points1 point  (11 children) | Copy

You don't understand my position well enough to disagree with it. The interval between my comment and your response is shorter than than the video I posted.

So here you are responding with automatic platitudes like an NPC. What dictates your behavior specifically are blue pill platitudes like "attitude is everything" which you spam whenever approaching the limit of the overton window.

If attitude is everything is so Red Pill then why is it repeated aud nausium in public schools aka blue pill indoctrination institutions?

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear222[S] 3 points4 points  (10 children) | Copy

Cause consumerism overrides their desire to apply the information.

However, similar to how we had a one hour skype meeting 5 years ago where you gave me actionable advice, I spoke of similar actionable advice in this post. It’s not all fluff about attitude.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil3 points4 points  (9 children) | Copy

Everything you wrote in your post is commonly taught in government indoctrination centers known as American Highschools, the purpose of which is to create a dumb compliant workforce that doesn't ask questions, blames themselves and spends their entire lives in wage cage.

The whole point of visualization is to imagine change so you don't have to do it. That's the thesis of the video you still haven't watched

Hey guys here's some Red Pill advice repeated verbatim from the Blue Pill indoctrination centers!

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear222[S] 3 points4 points  (8 children) | Copy

You scratch a cynic and you’ll find a disappointed idealist. You share the same defeated attitude these purposeless young men do. Believe me, as a lifelong George Carlin fan, I understand your point. But whereas you just recommend quitting and assume it takes moving out of the country to succeed, I know better. I did it. And others can to. If this post helped even one kid write down his fucking goals on paper it would have been worth it.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil0 points1 point  (7 children) | Copy

Leaving a crumbling economy isn't defeatist Calling me a defeatist of all people is hilarious. Feel free to go back to jerking off to your mindfulness app and thinking positive thoughts. Don't think to hard about solutions just keep doing your cope mind games.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear222[S] 5 points6 points  (6 children) | Copy

I can’t tell if you’re trolling.. As if it’s a viable solution for blue pilled youngsters to move out of the fucking country. With what means? I’m all ears

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy

I guess the Nomad Capitalist YouTube channel is a giant troll and so is foreign earned income exclusion. Ha ha so funi!

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear222[S] 4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy

Alright we made progress! Make a post on it.

[–]destraht1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

so is foreign earned income exclusion

I spotted how you needed to put it in terms of their own system, even when the point is being away from all of that. Normal countries don't attempt to claim your income while you are living elsewhere. The secret is to make them feel special and smart in the same way that their accountant (and attorney) does as they're funnelled into the same ultra smart place. The reality of the situation of being gone and away is plain dead obvious and simple but for extra normie rebel humour points you could frame it up with itiswritten into a moot point hack of a system. Throw in a few crude references to Latina buttholes and it could really work.

[–]brasilgringo0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Just to complement with a counterpoint, I still end up paying the US government like $40K+ per year, even living overseas full time (and more than half of that is "estimated taxes" that you have to pay quarterly). The foreign earned income exclusion only gets you so far. And I'm not ready to renounce citizenship, so Uncle Sam keeps his hand in my pocket. And in addition, I have payroll and other taxes (cap gains, divends, etc.) that I have to file locally here, not to mention tax prep. And let me tell you, right now being in Brazil is not a "good thing" relative to the USA ... our currency is in the crapper, we have the world's worst coronvavirus situation (which has basically paralyzed the women activities since early March), and a president who is more keen to take over everything than even Trump. Let's just not propose that moving overseas is a panacea. That said, clearly some overseas places have retained (even post Covid-19) pretty great low-cost lifestyles, like Thailand and perhaps Portugal (though you'll have to accept a woman shortage vs. Brazil, but they will exempt you from local taxes for a few years).

[–]INNASKILLZ2K180 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Wooohhhh now.

Are you telling me that my American based dream strategy of buying lots of cool clothes, walking like I'm the AMOG, piling my bank account, and fucking lots of thots...isn't red pill?

But dude, I write goals on paper and think positive AND I'm defeating hypergamy.

And I hold frame and shit. You'll see...when I have a harem of 50 high class chicks who dig my amused mastery...you'll see. I'm gonna write down on paper how I think outside the window now...

WTF is happening with these ten fingered meatbags that I'm controlling through this weird existence. Dude the sun came up today. Good news. You came into this world with profit ( a body and a mind ). And soon you'll die and pop out again. Practice gratitude every day cause it will be over before you know it.

The amount of upvotes this thread has shows the state of this subreddit. Methinks less than half who upvote this post will ever truly understand what TRP is about.

My opinion is that purpose is in monetizing your skill. To be real capitalism defeated communism therefore elevated the role of the free market and ultimately the power of money. Find what your good at, express that by utilizing it to create value for society and laugh all the way to the bank. Money as a medium of exchange, store of value and unit of account go a long way in this life. Even if your not the partying type you can purchase memorable experiences. You never see someone on a jet ski depressed

[–]myfirsttimecoding1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Well said. The process of monetising your skill that you are passionate about is the recipe for happiness and fulfilment.

Think about non-compulsory things you have spent time on over the years. There’s a habit/activity that you have developed which may not even be obvious to you. Find a way to put that online and work up to 1000 true fans.

Even if you fail, you will be chasing your dream of a monetised passionate skill. And if you succeed and actually make online income from your skill, fuck yeah live the good life, be location independent, enjoy it.

I have to disagree, at least to a point. Older guys imo are like boomers or even young women. IMO they are privileged and don't know how rough it is for younger guys. Me being an incel, i feel i can at least see the ceiling is much much lower for the younger gen than previous generation. Some will succeed and there are things to greatly improve your life. But, the idea that men will have it easy as long as they try is so faulty. That of course that is not to say to give up. For example, i went back to school and will have BA with only 5k dept. For someone that stutters and has adhd that's going to be a big upgrade! All I'm saying is yes you can greatly increase your worth but the idea of limitless potential is very disillusion. Looking back i don't regret the BA and losing weight but i do wish i kept more pleasures like gaming in my life. I probably would be less depressed and in a much better place mentally than the years of self improvement stuff that didn't get me anywhere.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear222[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

You’re not a victim. Take responsibility for where you are 100%. If you don’t like something, change it through repetitious failure. You have a self defeatist attitude in a game called life where attitude is 50% the battle. Your attitude is operating at 1% capacity. Fix it through my post and your life will improve.

[–]Punstatostriatus0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I wonder if author of thread read some psychological books that actually covers this topic? What constitutes good life is well described in literature, but it's not fully universal. And clue is to be socially, at least, seen. In a dungeon almost no one will be happy or content. You can lift all weights in the world, but it will mean almost nothing if your ego is not stroked by others.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
