There are a myriad of reasons why it’s a false equivalence, but I wanted to focus on one in particular. Many FDS detractors like to come out with tropes like “women who follow FDS will be single” or “it’s not an effective strategy.” However, by comparing us to incels or TRP, they’re overlooking a key difference: most of the women who subscribe to this subreddit have no problem attracting men. The reason why this sub was created was to help women sift out men who are not worth their time, energy and effort. There are plenty of stories and screenshots of women on this subreddit receiving messages from men. A lot of us on here are single by choice. If we wanted sex/attention/a relationship from the opposite sex, we could easily get it. That’s a fact.

Incels/TRP are coming from a lack of abundance. These men do not get attention from the opposite sex. If you (dare to) venture on their forums, they often won’t have screenshots showing the validity of their “field reports”. Why is this? Because they’re probably lying about the success of their methods. Women are more desirable than men in the dating world. FDS exists to help women navigate through the murky waters of dating. Incels/TRP exist to give men a chance at even seeing the murky waters.
