Men can’t handle strong women long term because:

The thing where they kiss you while you’re talking reminds me of a past bf.

His move was to say “I love you” in the midst of an argument or disagreement. And he expected it to end the fight/argument/ disagreement immediately If it didn’t, he would start in with oh, so you don’t love me back? Which would derail the original discussion all together. This is LVM behavior.

The first time it happened, I explained, very nicely and calmly, that it was a problem and why it was a problem. The second time it happened, I said to him, this is why we’re breaking up.

I am not so sure. Many men don´t like the liberal feminist idea of a "strong" woman.

But with really strong and authentic women it depends. Some men like it some don´t but they respect it, no matter what they say.
