I'm objectively unattractive even with perfect diet and exercise. I have issues that can only be corrected with expensive surgeries like some tooth/jaw malformations and a couple of not very good features on my body. My general proportions are also not good. I also have some bad scarring from an accident as a teenager. I know I am ugly and I am not trying to put myself down I am just being objective.

I am 30, he is 35 and have been married since I was 26 and we have 1 child.

My husband is always talking about how sexy he finds other women and he is always paying them compliments. He also wants to become a polygamist. I live in a country where this is allowed. When I met my husband he had never had a real relationship as he said women don't get along with him or find him attractive. He has said the way I look is acceptable to him and he's admitted I don't look that great overall but he's ok with it.

This has effected our sex life. I feel really uncomfortable having sex with him, despite finding him attractive because of things he has said and the fact that he is more interested in other women. I still have sex with him as and when he initiates it but there is really nothing in it for me and he complains that I lay there and do not seem expressive.

He also keeps talking about how he wants his next wife to be younger than me and he keeps flirting with women much more attractive than me when we are out in public even in front of our child.

I have told him not to do it but he carries on and tells me to stop being insecure. He days he's not going to leave me so I don't need to be concerned. He tells me I need to watch psychology videos on YouTube and improve my self esteem. Even if he stopped I would feel like the damage has been done.

Besides this we get along and we are compatible in every other way and we rarely argue.

I just feel he can't take what he says and feels back and it will always be this way now.

He's not willing to pay for me to get my teeth fixed and other work done.

Am I being petty and overreacting? How would other women handle this situation?
