The REALLY GOOD sex comes from deep intimacy and trust. And yes we crave that. But...please don’t get caught up in trying to create that intimacy out of a hookup or hinge date. It will only end in heartbreak for you.

Focusing on my work, hobbies, and a million other things on my list. Keeping myself busy and re-directing the sexual energy to other activities. I’m very sexual in nature and Ive basically trained myself to resist the urges haha. Been celibate since October 😂

What you describe seems like a phenomenal opportunity to practice building self control and or discipline muscles with the knowledge that the stronger you become (through practice), the easier and faster you get to level up. There is a sense of accomplishment that comes as we begin to master ourselves.

Not sure if you've got a system to break old habits or form new ones. If not, feel free to borrow mine.

First, commit to try it for a short interval initially. I like 3 months, but start with 30 days if that seems less daunting. Then gamify the change process if you can by framing it as a personal challenge just to see if you can. (The opposite of which reads like "I should cut out bad behavior bc doing it makes me bad" or some nonsense like that.)

Once you make the decision to commit to the limited time period, youd be shocked at how simple managing the decision becomes.

Some options to try include: delete social media for 3 months, run 3 days a week for 3 months, journal every day for 3 months, or no sex with anyone for 3 months, etc.

Second, make sure to frame the rewards or benefits as being exponentially greater than the temporary "pain". E.g. Who DOESNT want to expedite the pace of leveling up.

Added bonus: Mental capacity is a zero-sum game. Eliminating all the sex-related ruminating frees up TONS of headspace for more productive thoughts! Ladies choice on what those new, fun thoughts can or should be. :)

I don't have any advice (lots of good advice here in comments), just wanted to say that I also feel this way, and it is exhausting and frustrating. You're not alone in this. Leveling up has its costs as well. But so does quitting any bad habit.

I like to take times like this to practice climaxing in different poses. Also edging is perfect for dry spells.
