Original Post Here Somebody patient, please go give this girl some advice...I literally can’t even. Gave him ideas for future dates?!?! Walked him to his car?!? Went to show her friend his social media pics after first date?!?! Nah sis.

“Ghosted after sex on the first date

Matched with a guy on tinder and went for a great date at restaurant for dinner. We connected so quickly and had great conversations.... I truly thought the date was going well.

I invited him back to my place because.. why not? I was happy to hookup! However, I was under the assumption he was looking for something more than that eventually (maybe shouldn’t of assumed that?).

I mentioned a lot that night and in the morning how I was starting to like him and different date ideas we could go on. I’m realizing now this could be very overwhelming for someone, however I don’t wanna justify the ghosting.

In the morning we went for breakfast and then I walked him to his car.

What’s frustrating is everything seemed just fine!

I found out later that evening that he has blocked me on EVERY social media platform and my phone number when my friend asked to see a photo and I couldn’t access anything. I was so embarrassed, as I was just talking about how great a time I had.

So long story short, we had a lovely breakfast, walked him to his car where we kissed goodbye and said how nice it was... and then he got in his car and thought “gotta block this chick!”

I was stunned and honestly heartbroken. I get he doesn’t owe me anything. It was one date but I thought I at least deserved a “hey fun night but this isn’t working for me” kind of message. Am I wrong?

Now... I know what I did next wasn’t the best way to handle it, but I was hurt and wanted answers. So I called using *67 infront of his phone number in the hopes he would answer. He did not so I left a voice message saying how frustrating and upset I was. And if he would be so kind to call and let me know why, I’d appreciate it (I know how unrealistic this request is but girls gotta try). I tried to call a few more times but nothing.

My ego is shot. I’ve never had this happen, although I know it’s common. How do I get over it? What’s causing me a lot of stress is that I know this shows a lot about his character, but not having a direct answer is so painfully frustrating and heartbreaking. I hate that one date he had this much control over my emotions. Any remedies for getting over this sort of thing? Or similar stories?”
