I know gorgeous women who do pickme shit all the time, but it depends on her upbringing. If she was a coddled, popular cheerleader type - less so. If she was more the 'ugly duckling glow up" variety, way more likely to be a pickme.

Literally just read an FDS post about how Jennifer Lopez was a huge Pickme with massive issues around low self esteem until she had her kids. And she has always been goddess-level good looking so nope, not related to beauty.

I know average and below average women who employ FDS tactics and demand great treatment from men (and get it), and HOT babes who do pickme shit for losers. There is no correlation.

I don’t believe this to be true. From personal experience I grew up kinda ugly & didn’t get “hot” until I was late 20’s. The hotter I got the more pickme I got, sadly enough.

I think it depends on how you’re raised and your natural temperament.

I got pretty in HS, beautiful in college and now I’m stunning.

But even when I was awkward in middle school, my dad would probably have had an aneurysm if I let any guy treat me like garbage, because he always raised me to be treated with the utmost respect and to take no bullshit from men.

Even now when I mention any guy I’m seeing his first questions are “Did he pay for dinner? Pay for your cab home? Open your doors?” He doesn’t let me let any dude get away with being low effort, even now.

No- its about how secure the woman is within herself. Pick mes are just insecure women with low self esteem and internalised patriachal views, ultimately. Insecure beautiful women are one of the major reasons many men have weird attitudes and think they can score any woman. They see attractive women settling for low value men out of fear and lonelineness and want it to be them.
