The first time he said "i can't" "don't have the time" or whatever some bullshit excuse, we need to just stop replying. Don't even give them the time or the effort to reply. Just go cold. There is no amount of words, groveling, texting, calling that will make a man change his mind.

Trust me I've begged an ex who cheated on me to not throw away the eight years we had. I wish I hadn't because it just prolonged a relationship that made me the chaser of his affection for years.

So lesson learned, never chase. The moment they want out, that's it. Let them be the one to grovel back towards you. The mere fact that you won't make an effort to run after them makes them question their fool decisions.

The comments were other women commiserating that they’d been through similar happenings: asking a guy to text/call more and getting met with being dumped rather than him expending even minuscule effort. The good thing is that these are not men you’d want to build a life or relationship with and they’re somewhat easy to avoid once you learn their behavior patterns but it still stings to see it happen.

As a former pick meisha I can tell you that men are just not equipped to deal with our emotions. Now when I get angry or upset I just cease contact. My bf who used to conventionally ignore my msgs, now calls me back when he senses I am upset. Deal with your own emotions.

This guy is just not that interested in her. Something tells me he's thrown off more than a few signals of his low interest in the past couple months and she's ignored them.

Don't put yourself in this position, ever. If you have to beg for 5 minutes of a guy's time, it's already over. LVM or HVM, he's just not interested in you enough.
