It's a shitty cope that men have fabricated out of thin air as a massive lie to deal with the fact that most of them begin losing their hair in their mid 20s, and the average man looks like warm coleslaw after 40. Then they have to deal with the consequences of their Fuckboyism in their 20s, and waiting later in life to date:

They're hitting walls left and right, and they're trying to make women freak out about aging because even though their hair starts to go missing, their level of entitlement remains the same. They want to be fuckboys in their 30s but they can't, because nobody wants casual sex with an ugly baldeoid.

Women never hit the “wall.” There is no wall for us. My mom is 51 too, attractive and fit and she is harassed constantly for dates in person, on dating sites and Facebook too lol. Now the quality of most of these men is a different story, but the interest is still there. My grandmother just passed away at 80 years old and up to the week before she passed she had men taking her out for coffee and day dates weekly. Different men and she had no interest in settling for just one.
