Anyone never seem to be around single people and feel like some higher power is toying with them?

📷Venting

Noticed this - whenever I go out/the environments I'm around, I just never seem to be positioned to meet single women, almost in comical way.

my normal environment:

  • Work - male dominated. all the women are married (yes, all).
  • Gym - 90% men. 10% of the women hide in the corner with headphones on
  • Friends' parties - married people galore.

ok, so lets be proactive, I'm going to join online dating *puts best pics up*

  • nopppppppe. not a top 5% guy.

ok, back to meeting people in real life

  • Co-ed sports? fun! but everyone is coupled up still
  • Maybe go out to the bars? everyone seems to keep to themselves, and its a 75/25 guy/girl ratio.
  • Coffee shops; "excuse me sir, some of the women here are complaining that you are approaching them/etc". (I tried this once and realized the whole chat casually with women at coffe shops is a no-no

Also just odd AF things like, I'll go out with my buddies, sit at the bar, and only dudes sit around us, while the girls are on the other side. Joined a co-ed sports league. the team my married buddy is on has like 5 single women, mine has none. Even decided to check out a new bar last night - literally 95% guys. go to get on the elevator, cute girl walks buy, peeps in, decides to take the stairs instead. Take the stairs , cute girl comes in carrying groceries - decides to take the elavator. join a cocktail making class, single cute girls in groups at tables, I'm put at a table with married people, and one gay guy that hits on me. Go to a coffee shop, sit at a table, a few girls come sit down at the same table, one starts talking to me, then her friend motions that she wants to sit at another location that just opened up with a charging port. gay guy sits down right after them and starts eye fucking me.
