It's like when you post something on a local for-sale group, for collection only, and someone asks you to hold it for X amount of time because they definitely want it. Everyone knows you never do that because they well definitely not show up.

This is so backwards to me. I always assumed if you were dating each other, sleeping with each other, that you were both off the market. Only when I entered my mid-20s did I figure out it's the other way around for many people.
