Wish people taught their daughters this instead of teasing them about when they need to get married or get boyfriends. They push and push girls to settle for any guy and then act astonished that their daughter is trapped in a bad relationship.

There's a case at my previous lab where this one guy is just... all kinds of problematic:

- stealing anything and everything he can get his hands on (including my water bottle)

- demanding that he be paid for his "contribution" to the lab (he did nothing)

- purposely shoving people in public and say that he hates them

- flirting with every women he laid his eyes on and get mad when we ignore him

- picking a fight with his supervisor over some petty things

And more. He is just a total nutcase. And somebody says "He should get married, that will calm him down" like uh no??? He will just be 10 times worse to his wife! People be thinking like marriage is the magic solution to every behavior problem, conveniently forgetting the endless news about domestic violence.
