Yup. It's time for female people to move on from mainstream platforms. All of them. It's time for us to start developing our own shit and prioritize ourselves. It's been time. Major platforms are overwhelmingly male run. They're always gonna prioritize themselves. BUT enough of their user base is female that if we STOP taking their shit, it's gonna hurt. Collectively we gotta leave.

I'm going to post more info on my own profile regarding my findings on new sites for women as well.

Edit because I'd like to further add: if you read my above linked post, you'll realize that through tech males are continuing to control culture and narrative of said culture. They always have but this technological ownership and domination is gonna be ten times worse. We are going to have words put in our mouths ten times more.

It's going to affect women, their reputation, their access to independence, and their ability to receive income that much more. I am afraid we are going to go backwards.

It is NOT a coincidence to me that tech fields are male dominated. It's a new and aggressive avenue for control. There is a reason males making death threats on Facebook is fine but saying men are trash is zuccable. There is a reason that saying women should never be allowed independence or the right to vote can have whole subs but GC can't.

They are actively ERASING everything we say. It isn't JUST offense. It's control.

Holy s**t it's true. I actually found gender critical by pure chance once on google search and stayed there for a couple of years (until today actually). But i'm sure that "deaddeyes" sub with photos of women dissociating because they can't stand the porn they are starring on is up like always.

This is heartbreaking. If it wasn’t for the Gender Critical sub I never would have found FDS or been open to its ideology. Gender Critical was the first place on the internet that I saw actively encourage women to put themselves first unapologetically, and to take no shit from men. I can’t believe that this sub has been shut down, yet Incel pages and subs that depict violence against women are allowed to run free. How is r/misogynyfetish still a thing, but a sub where women can discuss problems are unique to them banned?
