Even if he was asking you out on a proper date, I'm not the biggest fan of being asked out immediately with no conversation. It makes me feel like they have no interest in actually getting to know me.

I never understood walk dates. It sounds incredibly stupid. If a man really is low in finds but wants a cute date, why it suggest roller skating in the park, a nice picnic, kite flying, etc.

I know y’all are hell bent against cheap dates so this’ll probably get downvoted into oblivion; but I accepted a date from a guy who asked me to go on a walk. We met at a park I’d never been to that had a huge nature center. We hiked for almost the whole day, he brought lunches that he made and tons of water. We climbed trees and made a fort with a bunch of fallen logs. It was cheap as fuck but probably one of the funnest dates I’ve ever been on.

This type of strategy is honestly so low effort and desperate. How about building a conversation with someone and then getting to know them before trying to go on a date. What's the rush? It makes me think they are just looking for hookups because they're all too comfortable being this forward and asking out a girl they don't know.
