You're in a sea of darkness in that industry. My friend is in the same position says the exact same. He told me a story how he was sitting in a meeting and they're all mostly just white guys. But the one white girl who is new to the company felt empowered to state how she believes that they as a company should be more inclusive of colored people and a whole bunch of shit that wasn't even relevant to what they were there for. Sure enough on Monday a company email goes out. Like, that bitch is the racist one for saying all of that. Who looks around and says "we need more people of color" rather than "we need more people who are good at this job." And this is in the middle of the pandemic where the company is looking to lay off people not hire more just to make her feel better.

I've had a job offer where I would get payed a few thousand less a year but work less to, I was thinking about taking this. Then my current boss tried pulling this shit, I sent him an email telling him how I don't want propaganda shoved in my face at work and quit, I took the other job and it's good. I think by quitting I caused a massive shit storm, I was in the middle of working on a project, but I wasn't a permanent worker, my job was so that I was only working when they needed me so I could quit whenever I wanted.

Most black people I talk to are disgusted by the newfound fakeness of white people. I grew up around a lot of black kids and they rubbed off on me in a good way, so as an adult black folks have no issue being very honest with me and we generally get along great. It’s why I get to hear the most honest things out there.

The big thing I keep hearing is “White people acted like I didn’t exist, now they all want to be my friend?”. It’s true, too. Most BLM activists are self loathing white women, and black people aren’t nearly as dumb as white women think they are. Being overly nice to someone just because they’re black is every bit as racist as the opposite. That’s what these dumb white girls don’t understand and never will. I know how you feel mate, I used to work in the entertainment business, things were pretty based when I started but then this SJW BS starting seeping in, by the end of my short 6 years career it was so prevalent it was the main factor of people getting promoted or blacklisted, as I always sided with free speech against censorship of any kind, conservative or liberal, I was blacklisted and stopped getting stage time, then I quit, it was for the best, and now the comedy scene where I live SUCKS, nobody is getting nowhere since people are not interested in woke comedy, its disheartening but what can you do? The sad reality is , every good company will turn bad over the years - with bloat, overindulgence, aging etc. It's just how it is. When the CEO is dirt poor and working his ass off for the success - it's all that matters, but when he is rich, he stops caring for hard work, and starts thinking about his time, his image, public relations etc - and the silly ideologies creep in. It's just happens. No company is safe.
What you need to do, is focus on making the best of it - earn as much money as you, can, build your contacts in the industry, build up your skills, make yourself irreplaceable or competent enough to easily find a job at the competition... you are 25, you have basically infinite energy right now, so just work, study, build yourself up and learn how to shut the f up. Learn how to nod your head and kiss ass... when you need to, just fake it till you make it, but remember, while all your co-workers are killing themselves spending money and time, supporting idiotic leftist causes, you are killing it at your bank account and future prospects - finally, be ready to call it quits at any time - research the competition, treat your job as something like a fun carnival ride - it's fun while it lasts, but eventually, somebody pukes and you don't want to be stuck in this mess.... be ready to bail out at a moments notice, don't get into a mindset that this is the best you'll ever achieve, because future can bring you things you never dreamt of, and you are basically just starting out - there will be endless opportunities for you, for now - just work hard and keep to yourself. Invest your money wisely, save and have some fun hobbies to lower your stress levels. Don't take this stuff personally, learn to ignore the crap that is out there.

Being aware of it and understanding the lunacy of the enemy is the only way to combat it.

People here seem adverse to reading, but there is a lot of information that refutes CRT (Critical Race Theory). I continue to direct people to New Discourses, which has a sub here, also. The website is better.

I also suggest reading sources like The Federalist, if you prefer someone more conservative.

I feel your pain, brother. When all of this BLM stuff kicked up, both our CEO and COO cucked out and bent the knee, with a mass email full of virtue-signaling garbage sent out to the company. These two have enough capital between them to be able to buy a small city, and yet there they were, prostrating themselves in front of the world, to make it look like they gave a damn about anything more than how big their bonuses were going to be at the end of the year.

Next thing coming down the pipe was an email from HR about how they're forming a diversity and inclusion department. I can't wait for that tribunal to appear and start holding kangaroo court just because someone felt they were offended by a "microaggression".

Following that was our monthly "rah rah yay team" company meeting (held via Teams), where one of our VPs that happens to be of middle-eastern origin was the lead presenter, and she read off some canned statement about supporting not only People of Color everywhere, but especially our workers that were People of Color, to which she added "...like myself". I'm sure I wasn't the only one in the company with a "Dafuq?" reaction to that, considering that she's a naturalized citizen that wasn't born anywhere near the USA. She actively chose to come to the US, and yet we're supposed to bow and scrape to her?

So... yeah. I'm just going to keep my head down, keep doing my job, and start brushing up my skill set so I can find a company that isn't infected by wokeness.

I was personally discriminated against based on my gender (was initially denied the upgrade from temp to FTE because the team wasn't meeting the gender diversity quota, and my manager has told this to me in so many words).

I eventually got hired because they needed someone competent (a man) and intentionally padded the payroll with mothers on maternity leave to bypass the fucking quota.

I took the constant "women in coding" and "women leaders" and "mandatory sexual harassment sensitivization" fucking bullshit for a few years until I built some wealth, then left when I couldn't bear with it any more.

He has very little power in reality. Sure, he can retire if he wants, but if he wants to be CEO he has to look after the company's interest.

The company doesn't care about BLM or your freedom. It cares about making money.

Here is the reality. If you don't tow the line with BLM you get canceled. Leftists will organize boycotts at the level of individuals, retailers, advertisers, suppliers, and so on. They'll use violence too, and in many jurisdictions the government won't do a thing about it.

On the other hand, if you cater to them, then they won't do anything about it, and conservatives like you won't do anything about it either. We believe in freedom of expression, and if a company wants to cater to BLM then that is their choice. Conservatives aren't going to stop buying their favorite brand of breakfast cereal because the company racially profiles its job applicants.

That said, 95% of this stuff is just talk. They're doing the least they can do to fly under the radar, because they don't want to be driven out of business. Notice how they're encouraging YOU to donate to black causes? That costs them nothing. They might give token donations themselves, but nothing more than they'd otherwise be spending in donations to some other organization. Instead of giving a million dollars to feed local orphans they'll give it to help bail out some rioters - they don't care about the orphans or the rioters - they just spend the money where it gives them the biggest public opinion boost and right now rioters seem to be where it is at.

I am happy I don't have a high percentage of my cash in this company's stock (not any actually, just have my own personal retirement funds and personal savings), because I truly believe cowering to the far left will bite you in the ass sooner or later.

So, I don't think anybody should be investing in their employer's stock. This is just in the interest of diversification. If your employer collapses, as unlikely as it sounds, you don't want to lose your income AND your savings on the same day.

However, I do think that this stuff is going to cause problems for big companies. I think the key is whether they actually believe their own PR. Some companies put too many woke people in charge and the result is that you end up like the Star Wars franchise. Some companies have smart people in charge and that means that they know how to tell people what they want to hear but they don't believe it themselves.

I think the reality is that most of this stuff is going to blow over. Right now we're leading into a presidential election so people are ramping up the rhetoric to 11, and then we have people bored out of their minds from lockdowns. It is like a perfect storm and companies just want to still be standing when it is over.

Look at Google and Damore. Sure, he got fired, but so did left-wing activists who were trying to take the opposite stand. The company is of course going to have their low level progressive atmosphere because that is trendy, but they want employees to focus on getting work done, not publishing stuff that gets them in the news. Facebook will tolerate leftists doing low level censorship but when it gets out that it happens they fire people to make an example out of them. These companies aren't actually progressive at heart - they're just trying to please everybody.

Yeah I work for the state and they're pushing this. Most of the guys I work with (all skin colors if you believe it) are in the same boat as you. They're tired of this shit. I'm in corporate America too, but without the work life balance. I've seen minorities be given promotions with LESS job responsibilities and credentials as they hold the white and asian men accountable for the minority's tasks.

The EEOC will ensure that we don't get career advancement unless there's a desperate need, not because of our extensive efforts.

At least your company is nice enough to pretend that "people have brought this to our attention". My employer said in summary, "fuck you, whitie"

Invest them well - I can't give advice where to put your money but there's plenty to read on the web; for god's sake don't speculate on a 'sure thing' small cap company.
If you can, set up in business for yourself.
Retire as soon as you can.
