I've lurked on that sub before and I noticed something. Whyyyyyyy do those women on that sub use the same old excuse ("oh he was born in incestuous family" "oh his father was abusive that's why he is harsh to me" "oh he grew up without a loving mom that's why he doesn't appreciate me") to justify bad behavior. One can be so exhausted after overtime at work, accidentally has micro sleep while driving, and ends up killing innocents. "Yeah but I was tired I had a 17 hour shift" Can that be used as a free from jail ticket?

Just because they come from a messed up background doesn't mean they have to be a messed up person and give negative impact on other people. They're GROWN they should be aware that something in them is wrong, they should do self reflection and introspection and heal those trauma.

Um... wtf! Is this woman trying to justify it? It shocks me how blase she is about it! I have worked in family law and know how hard it can be for women to get single custody even in cases of abuse, but still- you'd think she'd be horrified and desperate to protect her daughter.

This is fucking disgusting. I want to vomit.

Having your husband tell you he pretends you are their daughter during sex is sexual trauma which is (according to mental health professionals) equivalent to the trauma of physical violence, and is sometimes worse.
