Hey, reading over the last submissions in r/relationship_advice gave me flashbacks to some BS I encountered in relationships with men. I thought I'd do it in the style of a quiz, feel free to add.

Do you know / have you dated a man that:

  • does not see a difference between soap, shower gel and shampoo (3 pts)
  • does not know the difference between shampoo and conditioner (1 pt)
  • has musty smelling laundry + sheets (1 pt)
  • does not own more than one set of sheets / *a* towel (3 pts)
  • does not own or care to own a wardrobe (=> floordrobe) (3 pt)
  • has a laundry hamper, but always leaves dirty underpants and socks on the floor (1 pt)
  • was apparently unable to load or empty the dishwasher (1 pt)
  • does not know how to read laundry instructions (1 pt)
  • does not know how to cook potatoes or vegetables from scratch (1 pt)
  • has a sink that is covered in a 2 inch layer of stubble and soap residue (1 pt)
  • has not enough pairs of underpants to go on a 2-week trip (2 pts)
  • has no socks without holes (2 pts)
  • lives in a house where every surface is sticky (2 pts)
  • showers in a mouldy shower, and obviously has done for months (3 pts)
  • doesn't replace broken light bulbs for weeks (1 pt)
  • lives in piles of miscellaneous paper and documents - buying a hole punch or a folder is for girls (1 pt)
  • never goes to a doctor on his own initiative, not even for a vaccination or a dental checkup (2pts)
  • doesn't own a wallet (any money / credit cards go straight into pants pockets, from where they fall out) (3pts)
  • owns dress shirts but can't operate an iron (1 pt)
  • owns a suit, but mysteriously doesn't know the address of a dry cleaners in the city (2 pts)
  • owns a museum of ancient razors in his bathroom (2 pts)
  • has a shower full of half or 3/4 empty soap bottles (1 pts)
  • leaves a trail of wrappers on every surface of his house (1 pts)
  • made his female partner get all birthday presents for people in their social circle, including his parents (1 pts)

Yes, I've encountered far more of these in the wild than I care to admit. Scores? Additions?
