So, the other day I was going to Chapters to pick up a book when I noticed one of the people working there had a name tag with "she/her" under her name. No one else had that in the store. I know that on twitter, people put that nonsense on their name, but I am starting to see it seep into interactions in the real world.

Can someone explain to me what the point of that is? Am I being insensitive if I think that it's stupid to advertise this information? Am I over-reacting? Does anyone with a kid care to weigh in if this is something that's happening in schools as well?

Thanks.
