Not me but this happened to my uncle. He was preparing this epic wedding for him and his future wife. Sends her to Spain for 1 week with 5 of her best friends so he can prepare the wedding, and he pays for every single one of them, hotel, food, everything.

edit2 I remember when I was told about this, I was around 14. The way they would rationalize it would be to say that it's the same thing that happens when their husbands and boyfriends go to stripper parties. Some guys just watch. Others participate minimally by getting lapdances or having the strippers rub their genitals on their faces. Finally, others pay to have sex with the strippers.

This issue cuts across both genders. People will relax their so-called morality in a group setting under the right circumstances. All it proves is that morality is a social construct.

I.e. This thread is a prime example of what confuses me about modern feminism.

If women can seemingly be so easily manipulated into risking a nascent marriage by blowing a stripper at a bachelorette party, then shouldn't that be an implication of some sort of difference between the sexes? Feminism preaches women are as smart/smarter than men, with just as much agency, but few are the men I know who would betray someone they planned to spend their life with like that.

If modern feminists came out and said, "Yes, women can be quite knowledgeable, but are built differently than men and are susceptible to certain types of social manipulation (like game) that results in sexual behavior of questionable logic," I think I would respect them. But they just say game is equivalent to rape, which is silly and inaccurate. None of these fine women bacholerettes were getting raped; au contraire, they were having the time of their lives while future hubby waited on pins and needles at home!

I wish they could just admit it: a man can get a woman to do all types of things in the heat of the moment with the right frame. It just seems obvious this is somewhere women are different than men; not all these ladies are nasty sluts in regular life. This is AskReddit; all of it should be taken with high skepticism.
Granted, this sort of thing absolutely does happen during bachelorette parties; it also happens during bachelor parties. Really, the concept of a bachelor party is absurd in the first place -- if you can't go without a night of single-life debauchery, you aren't ready for forty plus years of commitment.

The takeaway from this is not that all women are sluts. Seriously. It's that a) women are people, just like men, and prone to infidelity; b) anyone who insists on having some sort of bachelor's party might be harboring lingering confidence / hedonistic issues, which is a big red flag; c) perhaps most importantly, who a girl associates with and who her friends are means a lot, so it should be a focus when deciding whether this girl is someone you want to marry.
