I did this to last fucknuckle. I was having trouble with my impulse control. I pushed the relationship angle and he said yes, then blocked and deleted me. Then I went on to entertain some truly revolting individuals. It’s nice when they are predictable

LOL I do the same thing. I prefer men to do the dumping so they don’t come back. Every time I had to dump guys they whine and beg. Sometimes blocking doesn’t work either.

I have a friend who broke up with her boyfriend who lives with her and he literally will not accept her break up. He actually told her he's goinlg to ignore it and show that he's better. What do you do for someone who won't leave the house you own but you're too afraid to get cops involved, etc? I've encouraged her to cut it off completely but she thinks he helps with the bills and is a warm body in their bed so she isn't lonely. I try not to facepalm too much but I would love some advice.

Not sure about this. Feels like it compromises your dignity. But I respect the fact that everyone has the right to employ the strategies that work best for them.

My ex husband loved me doing this and it would have been harder to get rid of him. I can't go against my self respect like I did in that marriage - if a behaviour is coming at a cost to my self respect now, I simply won't do it. Hence why I will not be friends with my kids Dad - I have explained and they totally agree that I shouldn't have to continue to entertain his presence with niceness because he is their Dad. I will never do this.

I just go silent and leave now. If that didn't work - I'd call the police. I can tell you the hundreds of times I should have called the police on my husband and the ONE time (when we were separated and going to marriage counselling) I told him I was coming over, he threatened to call the police! So, yeah they have no trouble being complete and utter hypocrites.
Just call the cops - they deserve it. Don't play games with nasty men. This could backfire terribly and you may have the cops called on you AND lose your self respect. Play hard core - because that's what they would do.
